  • Chalet Tarentaise is run by us, Martin & Deirdre Rowe. We have owned it since 1989 and each year our goal is to match the constantly evolving requirements of our guests.
  • The Chalet started life as a Savoyarde farmhouse around 200 years ago. In it's renovation we have kept a lot of the original charm and character.
  • Situated in the small village of Le Pre de Villaroger and only 200m from the chairlift, it is the perfect location for your next ski holiday.

Accommodation:

  • Bedrooms:
    • Chalet Tarentaise has 9 guest bedrooms all with full ensuite facilities including shower, toilet and wash basin.
    • Each room has it's own individually controlled electric radiators to keep you snug during the Winter nights.
    • Towels and soap are provided and the rooms are all cleaned daily.
  • The Lounge in Chalet Tarentaise is brimming with character. There are low beams, comfy seating and a good homely atmosphere. We have a fully stocked bar at one end for the exclusive use of our guests. In the centre is the original farm fireplace with a large wood burning stove.
  • Over the last few years we have added a few little luxuries to Chalet Tarentaise:
    • Sauna
    • Massage Room with in-house Masseur
    • Internet PC with broadband connection
    • WiFi
    • Professional Ski Boot Drier




Cuisine:

  • The dining room in Chalet Tarentaise used to be the farm cow byre. We have retained all the original beams but the cows had to go!
  • It is serviced by a fully equipped commercial kitchen and that combined with Matt our chef will ensure that a stay with us will be a gastronomic experience to be remembered.
  • You will always find tea and coffee making facilities set up for you to help yourself at any time of the day or night.

Services:

  • Our transfer day is Saturday and generally our guests come for one or two weeks. However, we regularly have people staying for long weekends or other combinations of days instead of full weeks. These breaks depend on availability so if you have a period in mind, Give us a call!
  • Please note that Chalet Tarentaise is a non smoking chalet. Smokers are still very welcome but they must smoke outside.

30% Reduction in December

We are offering a 30% reduction on all remaining beds from the 19th to th 27th of December. It's snowing already and flights are still very reasonable for this period.
