  • We've got 2 sitting rooms, a library area and a separate dining room - so it's great for large groups and families
  • Located on the edge of Landry (2700ft/800m), an old alpine village and part of the Pesiey-Vallandry ski resort, the Woodshed is just a short drive from the ski lifts and slopes of Les Arcs and La Plagne (420km of snowsure pistes).
  • We drive you to the lifts in the morning (less than 10 mins in our private minibus) and bring you back when you're ready in the afternoon
  • It's a great spot for groups with non-skiers too, as there are lots of lovely walks and cycle routes on the doorstep.

Accommodation:

  • 7 large bedrooms (6 ensuite). The seven interior designed bedrooms are spacious and have their own luxury ensuite bath or shower rooms (except the triple room, which has a separate private shower across the hallway).
  • The beds have feather duvets and pillows, and are a delight to sink into after a hard day on the slopes (let us know if you have an allergy!).
  • You can curl up in front of the fire in our spacious 'medieval' sitting room (formerly the stables, it has stone walls and a cosy log stove), or take time out with a good book in the library area.
  • We've also got an additional sitting room, separate dining room, and an indoor sauna 
  • The Woodshed is great for weekend and short breaks too - we have no set changeover day.

Cuisine:

  • Our hearty breakfasts include fresh bread, croissants, pains aux chocolat, a daily changing hot special (e.g. bacon & eggs, porridge, pancakes etc), yogurt, fresh fruit, tea (including herbal), coffee and a range of juices
  • We provide 5 course evening meals with wine 6 nights a week using fresh organic and locally sourced ingredients where possible
  • The 5 courses comprise nibbles, starter, main course, cheese board and pudding, we then serve coffee or tea (including organic herbal infusions) in the sitting room
  • We love baking and lay out a delicious old fashioned afternoon tea with home made cakes, biscuits and jams in the sitting room ready for you to tuck into on your return

    • Services:

    • We provide a free transfer from the train station (we're 5 mins from Landry, or 10 mins from Aime La Plagne)
    • Our shuttle service takes you up to the ski lifts every day and brings you back when you're ready in the afternoon (less than 10mins)
    • We're happy to help organise ski lessons, ski hire and passes, as well as childcare
    • Groups booking the whole chalet for a week or more on a catered basis get a 5% discount
