  • Situated in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps and perched at 1000 metres above sea level it offers breathtaking, panoramic views of Aravis mountain range and the Arve valley below. Whether you are looking for an activity holiday or to simply relax and re-energise, The Lookout is the perfect escape providing stylish, luxury accommodation with a sense of space and tranquillity.
  • The chalet is situated in the village of Araches La Frasse, which is just four kilometres from the ski resort of Les Carroz and just 45 minutes from Geneva airport. Les Carroz is part of the Grand Massif/Flaine ski area, which has 265 kilometers of pistes and one of the best snow records in the whole of Europe.
  • In 2006, The Lookout was completely refurbished with an emphasis on both style and comfort. The interior of the chalet has been designed with a mix of modern eclectic and retro furnishings and comprises a glass-panelled dining room with stunning views; separate lounge with a sumptuous corner sofa and log burning fireplace; and five spacious bedrooms with contemporary, elegant, ensuite bath or shower rooms.   • We wanted to create a place where guests feel completely at home, so The Lookout has a number of areas where you can relax, unwind and rejuvenate - whatever your mood or interests. Downtime can be spent reading a novel in your roomy bedroom, chatting and playing board games in front of a roaring fire, or why not simply sit on our sunny verandah with a cold beer and gaze at the mighty Pointe d'Areu mountain. Or if you’ve enough energy at the end of the day, our large garden is the perfect place for building a snowman or even sledging.
  • To reflect the serenity and beauty of its surroundings The Lookout has been completely refurbished to create luxury accommodation with a focus on style as well as comfort. Using a simple palette of colours, with the occasional splash of bold wallpaper and carefully chosen furnishings and fabrics, The Lookout offers home comforts with a contemporary feel.
  • The chalet has five large bedrooms, all tastefully decorated with luxury, ensuite bath or shower rooms. The house can comfortably sleep up to ten people but some rooms are big enough for extra single beds - please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • When it comes to getting some shut-eye, we don't just rely on all that fresh air and exercise to give you a good night's sleep. Our beds and mattresses have been carefully selected for their support and comfort; our sheets are high-quality cotton; and our thick duvets and pillows are allergy free and thermally efficient.
