Superbly situated ground floor apartment, comfortable and well equipped - laze on the grassy slopes in summer, step directly out onto the piste in winter.

Winter:

  • Say good-bye to clumping around in ski boots carrying awkward skis, instead step from the verandah directly onto the "blue" (easy) Chavannes piste and ski down to the ski school meeting place and the main lifts.
  • Although less than 5 minutes by car from all the amenities of the bustling village of Les Gets, the apartment is quietly situated with panoramic, unobstructed views of the slopes, village and mountains.
  • It also has the advantage of being close to an excellent mountain restaurant that is open both during the day and in the evening.
  • A sunny, ground floor, corner apartment in a small low rise block, secluded but not isolated.

Accommodation:

  • Double bedroom with views directly onto the pistes.
  • 2 full size bunk beds, which can be closed off into a private cabine
  • New full size double sofa bed in living room
  • Comfortable lounge chairs and sofa, TV and UK video player with a good selection of videos, CD/casette player and board games.
  • Dining table and chairs, and ample storage space.
  • New cooker with rotisserie, new dishwasher, and fridge. Attractive glass fronted maple dresser units.
  • Double French windows in the living room open onto the verandah which is just a step away from the piste.
  • Relaxing garden chairs and table for eating out in the snow or just watching ski-ers hurtling down the pistes. -
  • Bathroom has a drying area and separate WC.
  • Ski storage is opposite the front door

Summer:

  • filtered bathing lake, with slide, is 3 minutes level stroll away; nearby are children's play ground, pony club, devil carts and "Tarzan" park for adults and children over 8.
  • 150 kms of maintained paths through glorious mountain scenery and many mountain bike trails.
  • White water rafting, paragliding and other extreme sports can be arranged.
  • Morzine, traditional farming village turned resort, is only 10 minutes away by car and has an open air pool with water slides.
  • Excursions possible include Lac Leman and lakeside towns of Evian, Montreaux and Lausanne. Annecy and Chamonix and Swiss resorts are also easily reached.
  • Golf Information: Les Gets has a new 18 hole course at 1700m with spectacular views of Mont Blanc, open from May to October. This is only a short drive up the mountain from our apartment or you take the gondola from the village for fantastic views.
