  • Nestled in the Austrian Alps, our beautiful house is situated on the outskirts of Mayrhofen in a quiet and sunny spot, enjoying stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We have a huge garden with a private terrace, sun loungers and barbeque facilities for house guests. The self-contained holiday apartment is situated on the first floor.
  • Mayrhofen is THE superlative winter resort. Fantastic skiing on a vast choice of slopes, great night life, stunning scenery, and a chocolate box prettiness that will have you constantly reaching for your camera.
  • In fact, Mayrhofen is pretty fantastic the whole year round. You can choose from hiking in the Alps, mountain biking, paragliding, wild water rafting, swimming in the natural lakes, tennis or just lazing around in the garden enjoying the peace and quiet. Spring, summer, autumn or winter – there is something for everyone here.
  • The Hintertux Glacier is only 20 minutes away in the car, where you can enjoy the novel experience of all year round skiing, or a snowball fight in August whilst temperatures down in the valley are over 30 degrees!
 





Accommodation:

  • A sweeping spiral staircase leads you to the apartment, where you will find a comfortable kitchen-diner which is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, electric hob and oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee percolator, toaster, kettle, and Sat TV.
  • The bathroom has a bath and shower cubicle (with great water pressure!), separate WC. Bath towels and bed linen are also provided.
  • There are two bedrooms, one of which a double, and the other has a double bed and a comfy sofa bed for two.
  • The apartment has two private balconies, where breathtaking views of Mayrhofen and Finkenberg can be enjoyed.
  • Convenient heated ski and walking boot dryer.
  • Ideally suitable for 4 persons, the apartment can stretch to accommodate 6, just be prepared for 4 people to share a bedroom.
 

Services:

  • In winter a ski taxi will pick you up from the house and take you to the Finkenberg lift station for FREE!
  • Summer guests enjoy an exciting programme of activities including quad biking, paragliding, canyoning, wild water rafting, guided walks and bike rides.
  • A bread delivery service is also available.
  • We also provide a grocery service whereby you just fax or mail us your shopping list before arrival, and your provisions (and cold beer!) will be waiting for you in the apartment.
  • Wireless internet for those who can't leave their laptops at home!
  • We generally only take weekly bookings in winter, but off season are more than happy to offer short breaks.
  • Innsbruck is the closest airport (75km). Alternatively, Salzburg and Munich are only a one and a half hour drive away. We can easily arrange a transfer service for you from one of these airports - just mention it when booking.

P.S. You can look forward to an English welcome. The lady of the house, Kate, hails from Blighty, and can provide you with one of those rarer things to be found on holiday - a decent cup of tea!
