  • Le Grand Duc is superbly situated in a quiet position at the edge of the piste and just 150m from the main lifts and the ski school meeting points.
  • Méribel's Olympic ice rink, swimming pool and other excellent leisure facilities are close by, and shops bars and restaurants are only a short walk away.

Accommodation:

  • Chalet 'B' is furnished in a very cosy style and sleeps up to six adults or four adults and four children. It is ideal for families, groups of friends or for the individual skier.
  • 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and one with a separate shower, washbasin and w.c.
  • Bunk room with four large bunk beds which is comfortable for two adults or four children.
  • Part pine clad, well furnished living / dining area with south facing balcony and lovely views of the valley towards Mont Vallon.
  • Hi-fi system, games and books are provided and a cot, mattress and high chair are available for very young children.
  • Can sleep up to 8 (4 adults and 4 kids), or for larger groups the Grand Duc A,  across the hall, can be booked to accommodate up to 16!

Cuisine:

  • Cooked or continental breakfast - with choice of cereals, fresh bread, yogurt and fruit.
  • Afternoon tea - freshly baked cake on your return after skiing.
  • Pre-dinner drinks and savouries followed by four course meal with superior quality wines.
  • Cheeses with coffee.
Chalet hosts have one day off a week, when continental breakfast and afternoon tea are available, and a chance for you to try a local restaurant in the evening.

Services:

  • Travel by Eurostar from London or Ashford International direct to Moutiers, be met by taxi to take you to Méribel (30 mins) - no long transfers, no airport delays, the most relaxing way to travel !
  • Two Eurostar services available -
    • overnight departing Friday evening, returning from Moutiers Saturday evening
    • daytime departing Saturday morning, returning from Moutiers Saturday morning
  • Choose the overnight option and you can enjoy 8 days' skiing on selected dates! -
  • We will collect you from the station, take you to breakfast, help you organise skis and boots, and at the end of your stay, ski back for a shower, have dinner in a local restaurant where your taxi will pick you up to go back to Moutiers for the evening train home.
  • Fly out on Saturdays and we will arrange a private transfer for you.
  • For the discerning skier, why not fly out on Friday afternoon, hire a car, drive to a hotel for a good night's sleep and arrive in Méribel relaxed and ready to ski on the Saturday morning.
