Chalet Martin is a beautifully restored 200 year old Savoyard barn and farmhouse. After three years of renovation we are finally ready to welcome guests – so this year we are renting the chalet on a catered or self-catered basis, offering a warm and friendly service, delicious food, good value and homely accommodation.
The chalet combines rustic charm, exposed beams and log fires, with modern comforts such as digital TV, video/DVD and underfloor heating.
Commanding spectacular views of the Meribel valley, Chalet Martin nestles into the tranquil farming hamlet of le Raffort, situated 2km from the centre of Meribel. The chalet is only 150m from the Olympic telecabin which in 5 minutes takes you directly to the centre of the resort. The ski bus also stops approximately 100m from the door.
At the end of the day it is generally possible to ski home down an idyllic tree lined run straight into the chalet's garden.
The location of the chalet provides the best of both worlds, being located in a traditional village you can escape the crowds and yet still have easy access to the pistes. A far more enviable position than many of the chalets in Meribel itself.

On 6 of the 7 nights of your stay you will receive an excellent four-course candlelit dinner accompanied by unlimited free house wine. We can offer a vegetarian menu and also a children’s menu that can be served earlier in the evening if required.
Chalet Martin is a family run business and we will do all we can to make your stay a happy and enjoyable one.
We are happy and well qualified to advise you on services such as ski hire (we offer a in-chalet fitting service), ski schools, ski guiding, babysitting, and can even recommend where you’ll find the best skiing for the conditions and where to head on a night out.
