    About Chalet le Riez

    • Chalet Le Riez is a traditional chalet that has been recently updated with 3 bedrooms on the first floor and an open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area on the ground floor.
    • New for June 2010, cosy carpets fitted to the whole upstairs.
    • Situated on a quiet road only 5 minutes walk from the Super Morzine cable car and less than 10 minutes walk into town where you can find numerous restaurants and bars. You can get to the Pleney cable car by a 10 minute walk or a short ride on the 'Petite Train' which starts at the end of the road (by the Super Morzine lift).
    • There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away.
    • You will find a 32" LCD TV with English freeview and and all you need for a home away from home.
    • There is lockable storage for skis/snowboards which also holds up to 4 mountain bikes and new in June 2010 additional bike storage for 3 adult bikes in a secure protectacycle store.
    • The local supermarket (Ed) is a 2 minute walk whilst a wide variety of restaurants and bars are less than a 10 minute walk into town.
    • There are various cashpoints in town, the closest is only 5 minutes walk.
    • Besides the skiing there is toboggan runs and skidoo to add to the adventure in the winter. You can catch a local ice hockey match in the local ice rink too.
    • The summer months offer a large outdoor pool and children's play pool (new indoor pool open in spring 2011), horse riding, high ropes adventure, wheeled toboggan run as well as mountain biking, walking, fishing, paint balling, rock climbing, paragliding and golf.

    Accommodation:

    • Bedroom 1 with a large double or 2 singles with balcony (an additional single fold out bed can be available for this room too).
    • Bedroom 2 with a large double or 2 singles.
    • Bedroom 3 (smaller room) with 1 single and single fold out bed.
    • Wardrobes with shelving with ample storage space for clothes.
    • Main bathroom downstairs with shower, wc and sink and an additional toilet upstairs.
    • Full kitchen with gas cooker incl hob/oven and extractor over. Fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all the usual kitchen utensils and crockery (tea towels included).
    • Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining with double metal action sofa bed, large table seating up to 8. 32" LCD TV with English freeview, DVD player and DVDs.
    • Cot and highchair available on request.
    • Hairdryers near mirrors in 2 bedrooms.
    • Bedlinen and 2 towels each are provided and changed on a weekly basis for each new booking. Cleaning is carried out before/after each stay.

    Amazing Morzine
    "Morzine is a fantastic area for mountain biking. However if you're not into mountain biking there are lots of other things to do including great walks, swimming pool, tennis and a toboggan run.
    I would recommend this chalet as it's in a perfect spot, nice and quiet but only a few mins walk to the town, sports facilities and ski lifts. The chalet itself had everything needed to make it a pleasant and comfortable stay.
