  • This privately owned 2 year old traditional luxury chalet has superb panoramic views and is fitted and furnished to the very highest standard. An oasis of calm after busy days on the slopes, Chalet Matopos combines modern comfort with Savoyard character.
  • Just 10 minutes from St Jean D'Aulps and its access to the Grande Terche ski areas or 15 minutes from the Ardent lift to Avoriaz which offers unparalleled access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area. Morzine and Les Gets are a short drive away (20/25 mins respectively) if you wish to sample the hustle and bustle of these world-renowned resorts.
  • The summer months offer endless panoramic walking and exceptional down-hill mountain biking and the River Dranse has become a focus for Alpine high adrenaline water sports including rafting, canyoning and kayaking.
  • During your stay at this wonderful self catered chalet you will have access to our local (English) agents who can provide a host of additional services from pre-ordered ski passes to arrival groceries and preferential ski hire.

Accommodation:

  • 3 king and one double bedroom, the double and one king have individual walk out access to the top floor balcony and one king has double doors opening out on to the deck in the garden.
  • 1 large character bedroom with 2 double and one single bed, ideal for the kids, under the eaves.
  • 2 of the king bedrooms are ensuite, with 3 additional WCs and a separate family bathroom. Under floor heating to the ensuite and heated towel rails in every bathroom add to your comfort after a hard day skiing.
  • Large open plan living room and well equipped dining/kitchen with stunning views across Seytroux to the Alps beyond through floor to ceiling windows.
  • Under floor heating throughout with an additional log burning stove. The dining room/kitchen opens out on to a sizeable balcony perfect for summer dining and BBQs.
  • Kitchen fitted with microwave, Bosch oven, hob and extractor hood, full size standalone fridge freezer, Bosch dishwasher. A combined washer drier is available in the down stairs utility.
  • TV and DVD player with UK based satellite entertainment and sports channels including children's channels in additional to local French TV channels. Stereo and desk top computer. 2 charged ‘pay-as-you-go' French mobiles for use on the slopes.
