British owned family run catered jumbo chalet since 1980 with doorstep skiing and superb views

  • We run Hotel les Chamois as a Jumbo Chalet during winter and summer, ideal for groups, individuals and families alike. There is always someone of your skiing ability to ski and socialise with.
  • We are situated at the top of the Nyon cable car, literally giving us 'doorstep skiing'. Chalet guests will appreciate the pleasant Alpine ambience and facilities offered. We have a cosy bar with large welcoming fireplace and an extensive selection of malt whiskies, an attractive dining room offering breathtaking panoramic views across the valley and a large TV lounge. The majority of the bedrooms are very spacious and provide great views.
  • The chalet has been family run since 1980 and is now in its second year with the new owner Tim at the helm. During the summer months new changes have been made - the terrace is now completely decked and will be open at lunch time. Bar Inferno offers you the perfect solution to the lunch time pangs of hunger - why not try out the BBQ or the ample supply of hot soups.  The hotel is run by hard working skiiing enthusiasts chosen for their pleasant personalities and willingness to work in order to do a 'Season in the Alps'.

Accommodation:

  • Fifteen bedrooms, thirteen of which have shower/ wash basin ensuite, two smaller doubles have private bathrooms. There are seven toilets. Nine bedrooms are family rooms with four beds (a few of these are used as three's at no additional cost). Two bedrooms are twins and four are doubles.

Cuisine:

  • Our winter daily menu is written and prepared by first class chefs who are all capable professionals.
  • Breakfast and afternoon tea are served 8.00-9.00am and 5.00-5.30pm respectively, with a three course dinner served in the evening.
  • There is a choice of main course for the evening meal, one of which is vegetarian, and it is accompanied by a plentiful supply of bottled wine.

Après Ski
  • We host a regular disco, quiz night, games, tobogganing and happy hour in our own reasonably priced bar which often remains open into the wee small hours. There is also a TV/games lounge upstairs. 

Baby Sitting Service 
  • We run a baby sitting service for clients wishing to ski. We take children from babies up to eight years old who are looked after on the premises by a responsible member of staff under the supervision of the management team.

Travel - EIGHT DAYS SKIING !!!
  • During the Winter Season we run our executive club class coach to Morzine from various pick-up points between Scotch Corner and Dover. There is also a Manchester option depending on group size.
  • Our coach is a luxurious state-of-the-art 'semi-decker' which is ideal for winter sports holidays. The seats are fully reclining with extra leg room, calf supports, foot rests. We can also arrange transfer pick ups from Geneva airport.
SUMMER Prices from £199 HB p/p per wk & £25 BB p/p per night
  • During the months the hotel makes an ideal base where to explore some dramatic alpine scenery. There are many excellent outdoor pursuits activities available in the region in contrast you could chose to simply soak up the sun on the terrace.
  • The hotel is an ideal base for visiting many places of interest such as Geneva, Lake Leman, Montreux, Chamonix and Annecy. It is advisable to have your own transport.
