About Chalet la Moussiere
- Chalet La Moussiere is a traditional chalet built in 1813, set within the scenic old village square of St. Jean d'Aulps.
- The chalet is run by its owners ensuring quality service at all times.
- Whilst still retaining its old charm and character, the chalet has recently been re-furbished and can now cater for up to 24 guests, all with private facilities.
- Special attention is paid to our 4 course menus which offer a blend of English and French cuisine, including regional dishes, and good quality complimentary wines.
- We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with attentive service, to make you feel at home, yet pampered.
- Families are welcome and special terms are available for children.

Cuisine:
We pride ourselves on our home cooked cuisine prepared from fresh ingredients each day.
The day starts wiith a wholesome breakfast of a cooked course, cereals, yoghurts, fruits bread, fruit juices tea and coffee.
After skiing you will be welcomed back with vin chaud, a home baked apres ski cake or savoury option and tea or coffee.
A three course childrens tea, again home cooked, is at 6 pm if required.
Great care is taken preparing the four course evening meal which is served on our huge oak refectory tables. The cuisine is a blend of French and English and includes regional dishes. Meal are accompanied by liberal quantities of good wines and followed by tea or coffee.
Packed lunches can be provided for a modest supplement.
