Accommodation:
This stunning new five star spa chalet was constructed in 2007. Chalet ferme d'elise is ideally located on a quiet hillside just a minutes drive form the Nyon ski lift with spectacular views over Morzine and the Dranse valley. The chalet is constructed over three floors in the traditional style of a Savoyard farmhouse but offers the benefits of a new build in terms of unrivalled facilities and luxury. The chalet will comfortably accommodate up sixteen guests in eight double or twin bedrooms.Chalet ferme d'elise is designed to provide a level of relaxation, service and luxury which will be without equal in Morzine. This luxurious chalet will become the most desirable location for your winter break.
All the bedrooms within chalet ferme d'elise are beautifully furnished with top hotel quality super king size or twin beds, white linen, luxurious towels, fluffy robes, complimentary slippers, Molton Brown toiletries and flat screen televisions. Balconies are provided to four of the rooms with views overlooking the Pleney ski slopes. The suite on the first floor benefits from a double balcony and a large sofa and relaxation area. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with relaxing baths.
The open plan lounge and dining area is situated on the top floor with open eaves and spectacular views of the Point de Nyon providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The living area offers floor to ceiling glass with a south facing terrace off the dining the area adjacent to a small bar perfect for those pre dinner drinks in stunning surroundings.
Each evening your dining experience commences with champagne and canapes and is followed by a five course fine dining menu which is accompanied by wines chosen by our very own sommelier.
Cuisine:
fine dining....Your menu is specially prepared by two top level talented chefs who both have Michelin fine dining backgrounds. The menu has a French influence and is accompanied by our selection of wines chosen by our very own sommelier. We source all our produce locally and of course you can discuss your personal requirements with our chefs who will be more than happy to cook your favourite dishes and cater for any special dietary requirements.
breakfast....
A typical day starts with freshly ground coffee or a selection of tea infusions, fresh squeezed fruit juices, cereals, local yoghurts, freshly baked bread and croissants plus the option of a cooked breakfast to set you up for a full days skiing.
In additional to the option of an English breakfast with free range eggs and local bacon, each day your chef offers a special breakfast, such as eggs benedict or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
afternoon tea....
On your return from the slopes a selection of freshly baked cakes and fancies are served in the lounge area or on the terrace (weather permitting) for afternoon tea.
dinner....
Each evening your dining experience commences with complimentary champagne and canapés served at the bar and is followed by a five course fine dining menu.
Our early children's dinner allows parents to relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.
We have an extensive wine cellar and at the bar we offer a wide selection of aperitifs, wines, beers, champagne, digestifs, soft drinks and mixers.
One evening a week, our chefs take the night off and this gives you the opportunity to sample one of our local restaurants, we will gladly offer our recommendations and make reservations for you and ensure transport is provided.
Services:
facilities....Your dedicated driver is at your disposal he will take you to and from the ski slopes and around the resort as requested.
Spa services which includes a secluded outdoor hot tub, sauna and wide range of massage and therapy treatments offered in your very own massage room which also has heated massage bed.
Complimentary ski hosting is offered on four days of your stay. Lets us share our knoweldge with you, ski untracked runs, take a trip to Switzerland, lunch at the finest restaurants with fantastic views and finish the day at a cosy bar at the bottom of the pistes perhaps with vin chaud or beer.
With our in house ski hire service your equipment will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive at the chalet.
We will gladly assist with the pre arrangement of lift passes, arranging ski lessons and childcare.
To maintain the relaxed ambiance in the lounge area a separate large screen home cinema room is available with Bose home entertainment system, satellite television and a large selection of dvds.
Wireless broadband is also available throughout the chalet.
