  • Set in the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski area, one of Europe's biggest, The Edge offers top quality accommodation and service to make your ski trip a truly memorable one.
  • Our brand new chalet has all ensuite rooms, each with balcony and stereo system. 
  • The chalet itself has a hot tub on the main balcony, sauna, ski/snowboard workshop, wifi and iMac, plasma TV and Nintendo Wii, table tennis and board games.
  • The ski area is also second-to-none, with 650km of slopes set out over 12 linked resorts. The Portes du Soleil was one of the first European resorts to actively seek out snowboarders in the 1990s, and continues to be a European centre for the sport most recently with the opening of Burton's Stash freesyle area.





Accommodation:

  • All the rooms are doubles or twins, all with en-suite bathrooms. Every room has its own private balcony looking out over the mountains or down into the Morzine valley. Each room also has its own CD player/radio, play a CD or just plug in your ipod.
  • Outside on the main balcony on the top floor, you'll find our hot tub. Downstairs in the basement, you'll find the sauna - perfect after a cold day out on the mountain.
  • The top floor is almost entirely open plan, open at the top to the beams and roof of the chalet. The floor is split level, with a beautiful fireplace and access to three balconies and the hot hub. We also have TV with DVDs and Nintendo Wii.
  • We have a table tennis table, as well as a range of board games for you to use at any time.
  • The Edge has unprotected wifi so you don't need to ask us for passwords or login details. You can just go to your room, open your laptop, etc and go online immediately. If you don't fancy lugging your laptop all the way over here, we have a brand new iMac computer available for communal use.

Cuisine:

  • From the cooked breakfast and smoothies at the begining of the day to the exquisite four-course meal in the evening, The Edge Morzine offers some of the best food you'll find on a chalet holiday.
  • A freshly baked cake will be ready for your arrival back off the slopes at about 4.30pm every day. Our normal selection of teas and coffees are there to go with the cake.
  • The four course evening meal will be made from fresh, local seasonal produce. With dinner, we serve French table wines as part of the package.
  • Wednesday is the staff day off. We will provide cereals, teas and coffees for breakfast but you'll have to find your own way for afternoon tea and dinner. Of course, We will help recommend restaurants and make bookings or you can just wander into town and see what takes your fancy.
