Ted Bentley is a new company, dedicated to providing high quality skiing or boarding holidays to the discerning winter sports enthusiast, exclusively in Switzerland's Four Valleys.

  • Located in the same ski area as Verbier, it is fairly safe to describe Nendaz as a 'quieter, calmer' alternative to its larger neighbour, especially if you appreciate great skiing but loud 'super resorts' aren't your thing.
  • Chalet Merri is a newly-built 4-bedroom luxury chalet that combines traditional Swiss architecture with modern home comforts and contemporary fixtures and fittings.
  • The large open-plan living and dining area features a stone-built open fireplace, and large picture windows through which one can enjoy panoramic views over the beautiful Rhône valley.
  • The chalet is located in a tranquil area of the village, about 10 minutes' walk from the village centre and around 15 minutes walk from the main lift station (but just 300 metres from the free ski bus stop).

Accommodation:

Lower ground floor: the large front door leads into a hallway off which is a wine store and double garage (complete with ski racks and a laundry room off it), whilst in the main premises are a boot room, three spacious bedrooms (the master with ensuite bathroom, plus two further twin rooms), a separate family bathroom for use by the twin bedrooms, and a separate WC.

Ground floor: open plan living and dining area, complete with rustic log fire, sumptuous lounge furniture and panoramic picture windows, providing oustanding views across the beautiful Rhone valley. Outside is a large terrace complete with luxurious hot tub, that will accommodate up to 6 people.

Upper floor: high-ceilinged living room, overlooked by a beautifully appointed mezzanine floor, off which is the fourth bedroom and ensuite shower room.

The chef at this chalet is a fully qualified professional, with a background that includes cooking at a shooting party at Andrew Lloyd-Webber's house, plus a stint as Bryan Adams' personal chef. You are assured a great week's dining with him at the helm.

You are provided with cooked breakfast (if requested), afternoon tea and four or five-course dinner with wine.
