"Great Chalet, Great Snow - Great Trip!
We had a group of 9 at Chalet Danielle in Mid January. Fiona was great helping us arrange everything. The chalet is a nice size and, for the very reasonable price, I don't think I've stayed anywhere better! You can ski right to the door, although the walk to the slopes in the morning is 5-10 mins. A word of warning though - I'd probably recommend bringing a car, as its quite a walk to the town for shopping/bars, and taxis were hard to come by. Enjoy!"

Lovely chalet, in perfect location, LOADS of snow!
"had a great week in New Year 2012 - absolutely loads of snow, so had to park car down on road, despite snow chains!!! All added to the adventure as did a power cut for 36 hours!!
The chalet is extremely clean and comfortable, with gorgeous views
The walk up to the piste was fine - even our 6 year old did it with no moaning!
    Lovely holiday!"

Great Holiday despite lack of snow
"Went to Chalet Danielle in mid April 2011. A terrible season for snow. We were amazed at how the Piste Bashers managed to keep the slopes open (God knows where they got the snow from - it was over 20 DegC!). We chose Chalet Danielle as it purported to have ski back and decent accomodation. Sadly the lack of snow meant that the former wasn't true, but it was a short (5min) car drive down the mountain to the nearest operating lift (the closest one was closed). The Chalet itself was exactly as we expected and Fiona was extremely helpful in answering our (many!) questions. We were an extended family of 9 plus two babies. Kitchen was great with a large fridge and a large freezer and plenty of cutlery and crockery. Parking was right next to the chalet (we had three cars but you could have parked more). A steep incline just before the chalet might have been an issue if there had been snow (chains would have been necessary). La Plagne is a great ski location and whilst Chalet Danielle is a bit away from the centre, the skiing to and from would be great in normal snow conditions.
Without doubt one of the best chalets we have stayed in and outstanding support from Fiona. Highly recommended."

    Exactly what you want !
"We were a group of 5 skiers and boarders looking for accommodation close to the slopes, with some privacy and to a reasonable budget...

Chalet Danielle was exactly what we wanted

Too many holidays spent in crowded accommodation fighting the crowds in queues for food and drink meant we wanted something a bit more private where we could unwind in front of our own fireplace and amongst friends.
Chalet Danielle, a short car or taxi ride from the centre of town, provided all this and more.

With spacious accommodation, great views and easy access to the slopes, we had everything we wanted.

You deal direct with the owners (Fiona) - and we were never in doubt that we were in safe hands from the start.

    Highly recommended

    A Fabulous place
"Chalet Danielle is a wonderful place, comfortable and welcoming. perfect for large groups. I loved the way the living and dining space were on a seperate floor to the tv room; we could sit by the fire in the evening with a glass of wine whilst the kids watched films downstairs. Very comfortable and very clean, In a lovely spot overlooking mountains beyond, close to the little village of montalbert with the lifts and restaurants and bars as well as a well stocked supermarket. We will definitely be back to Chalet Danielle. Thank you for making our holiday perfect!" debra 19 Jun 11

    GOOD TIME HAD
"I have been on ski holdays for near 40 years my boys when small and now with granchildren. Just half of my family spent this Xmass time stayed Chalet Daniell.
There is never (THE PERFECT ) place either a walk or ride .
We try to go too as many resorts some more than once .

The owner of Chalet Daniell answered ever question the next day (or same day ) Email and the key holder was very good as we arrived very late .

The Chalet had everything we needed ski back large dining/kitchen play area TV and safe to play outside and about the only chalet that had at least twice as many bowls plates glasses knives forks that we have stayed at.
No its not 5 stars .But had all we needed ensuite 3 bathrooms sleeps 10 ( our party 8 )park next to front door .

If good skiers takes 20. 30 min on lifts to get into the vast Bel Plange area but more that enough local skiing for the beginer and old and tired like me.

Would I go stay again YES just have to get the other half of my 4 sons and there children to go as perfect for what we needed ."

    Chalet Danielle
"A really nice chalet that accomodated two families comfortably. Nice views, well equipped and only a short walk from a gentle run down into Montalbert. A little bit isolated for the novice skiers and small children that needed ferrying into Montalbert each morning but it was fine once we established the necessary routine. We will definitely consider this one again for a future trip." Phil Doubtfire 17 Mar 11

    Stunning location
"Spent a week at Chalet Danielle, we were two families with children. The chalet is extremely well equipped and with two lounges perfect for families. The views and location are simply stunning. The piste is a short walk away. A really special place and we plan to return." HenryJ 15 Mar 11
