Charming guest house set in a traditional village in the valley below La Plagne - the ideal base for exploring the area in both winter and summer!

Chalet des Amis, in Villette, near Aime, is a cosy, family-run chalet sleeping up to 10 people, offering a relaxed and welcoming environment, with panoramic views of the mountains.
Our Chalet is located in the heart of this savoyarde village, situated between Moutiers and Bourg St-Maurice, tranquil and unlike the 'purpose built' resorts.
The chalet is within easy access to all of the major ski, biking and walking areas using the lift systems of Les Arcs, La Plagne, St Foy, Valmorel and Courchevel.
We are also ideally located to take advantage of the canoeing and rafting on the Le Doron de Bozel and the Isere, where the International White Water Canoeing takes place in Bourg st. Maurice.
We will organise daily adventure activities for you, with France Raft and TrailAddiction click on special service icons). Ski guiding on and off piste can be arranged.
The Valley provides access to a number of high level road passes for keen road-bikers,eg. Col de l'Iseran, Col de Petit St. Bernard, Cormet de Roselend.
All of this is capped with delicious home cuisine and local wines.

Accommodation:

There are five bedrooms available over two floors, with either twin or double beds. Optional additional beds are available.
Every room has a view. Although there are no en-suite rooms, each floor has a separate W.C. and spacious bath/shower room with plenty of hot water.
The cosy lounge is situated on the first floor with comfortable seating for 10. There is also a large TV with Sky, a selection of DVDs, videos and a CD player.
The separate dining room offers superb panoramic views.
There is plenty of secure storage/drying spaces for your skis, boots, bikes, canoes, etc. in the vaulted cellars, beneath the chalet at ground level. A pressure washer is available to clean muddy bikes.
Ample parking spaces are available adjacent to the chalet.

Chalet des Amis provides an excellent catered package consisting of a continental breakfast with a choice of porridge or boiled eggs. After a day on the mountain afternoon tea with home made cakes, biscuits or scones, hot chocolate or tea/coffee, followed by a three course evening meal with local wine. Packed lunches can be provided if required.
Evening meals are available every night at 7.30pm except Wednesday evening. On this evening guests have a good range of reasonably priced restaurants in Aime, Moutiers and Bourg.

Chalet des Amis is run by two enthusiastic and experienced skiers and climbers who have spent many years exploring all areas of the Alps, both in summer and winter.
We have chosen the Tarentaise Valley to open our catered chalet because this area offers something unique for everyone all year round.
The valley provides access to some of Frances wildest and highest places being on the edge of the Parc de Vanoise.
Villette is easily accessible by road, rail and air. Chambery & Grenoble Airports being a 1hr.15mins drive; Lyon and Geneva are 3hrs.
The chalet is located in the picturesque village of Villette, five minutes from Aime, one of the station stopping points of the Euro-star and Snow Train.
