Praz de Lys - Sommand - Ski, Snowboard & Summer Holidays
Praz de Lys is a traditional Haute Savoie village, with some famous neighbours. Les Gets and Morzine are just down the road a little way, so a ski holiday in Praz de Lys allows you to explore the local area and to dip into the vast Portes du Soleil network which stretches over into Switzerland.
The alpine ski area of Praz de Lys and Sommand extends over 60km of pistes from 1500 to 2000m. There are 53 pistes covered by 24 lifts. There is also a snowpark.
There is also an extensive cross country ski area, located on a plateau at 1500m with views over forests and panoramas of Mont Blanc.
All in all there are 60km of cross country trails between Pras de Lys and Sommand, including one black piste which links the 2 plateaux.
