| Apartment Bonheur is a ground floor, self catering apartment sleeping upto four guests. You can enjoy fantastic skiing in the winter months, with not only Fromigueres resort but another 7 local resorts covered by the same ski pass, the Neiges Catalanes, all levels are catered for at a sensible price! Outside of the winter months you can try, lake fishing, sailing, parapenting, hiking, biking, horse riding or simply relaxing. Enjoy this unspoilt area with views of the ski slopes and views of Puyvalador lake from your accommodation. Apartment Bonheur is based in the bustling mountain village of Formigueres, with a provisions store, two patisseries, several lively local bars, a wood fired pizzeria, a traditional Catalane restaurant, outdoor activities equipment hire, a tourist office, a tabac and cash point all located around the village 12th century church. We may also use the tennis courts and childrens play ground on the village green, just 50 meters from the Chalet. The village Creche offers its services to children from 3 months up. We run a completely non smoking apartment + sorry no pets allowed!

Accommodation:
Apartment Bonheur is part of Chalet de Bonheur and has electric heaters throughout.There is a double bedroom with a large wardrobe. The lounge has a comfortable sofa, with a cd and dvd player.The sofa doubles as another double bed, to sleep a further two guests, (a proper sprung matress on a metal base, not the floor).The kitchenette is well equipped for four guests with fridge / freezer, a hob and microwave/ grill, kettle and coffee machine, sink and drainer, and a dining table that comfortably seats four. There is of course a seperate private shower room and toilet off the lounge.The garden and barbeque are available to use in the summer months as well as ski storage and a boot warmer in the winter. Your hosts are available to offer valuable information on this amazing unspoilt area and all the activities available.
Cuisine:
We can supply a starter pack for your arrival, to include enough basic provisions for a snack, breakfast and lunch to keep you going until you have been shopping. Dinner is available upstairs at the Chalet de Bonheur(subject to availability). We offer a four course evening meal with fine local wine and lemonade for the non drinkers, or feel free to bring along a drink of your choice. Where possible we use local produce and as much as possible is home made.A typical evening meal:
A starter of Homemade Garlic Chicken Liver Pate and freshly baked bread, followed by a main course of Beef Bourguignon served with fresh seasonal vegetables, a dessert of Rich Chocolate Mud Pie, a selection of cheeses, fine local wine and coffee.
