About Maison de Newfield
- Situated in one of France's best kept secrets, Les Angles has over 40 kilometers of skiing on 31 pistes to suit all levels.
- It is coveted by both French and Spanish skiers who live on the borders of south west France.
- Our three bedroom house is within walking distance of the village.
- The house faces down to Lake Matamala with outstanding uninterrupted views of the lake surrounded by snow clad mountains.
- A free shuttle bus service will take you to the ski lifts or you can drive to the huge car park next to the main ski cabins.
- In the summer Les Angles is also an active resort attracting those who favor walking, hill climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis or just enjoying the outstanding views in the Pyrenees.
- Temperatures can climb into the 30s.
- Les Angles is about an hour and a half from Perpignan airport and two and a half hours from Toulouse or Montpellier.
Accommodation:
- The house has a large lounge/dining room, a kitchen, downstairs toilet, ski cupboard, three bedrooms (two double beds and one with two single beds), and two shower rooms one with a toilet.
- The house has full heating to every room.
- In the lounge is a sofa-bed so that up to 8 people can be comfortably accommodated.
- Outside there is a large verandah and plenty of space for parking.
- The kitchen has an electric stove, a dishwasher, fridge-freezer microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker and sufficient utensils, crockery and cutlery for 8 people.
- The lounge has a three seater sofa, a three seater sofa-bed, two armchairs, a coffee table and two occasional tables
- There is a HiFi system and digital TV with a DVD and VHS player.
- A large dining table and 8 chairs.
- In addition to the beds each bedroom has a large built in wardrobe with shelves and hanging space.
- The resort is open during the winter from 1st December to 31st March and has plenty of snow guns (363) should the winter snowfalls be late.
- The village has a variety of shops & restaurants, ski-hire shops, ski-schools, bowling alley and cinema.
- In addition to alpine skiing there is cross country skiing, a snow park and an ice rink.
