  • Our chalet, Les Cailloux, is a beautiful 18th century house in the traditional mountain village of Bareges. Everyone welcome - singles, couples, families and groups.
  • Bareges is part of the Tourmalet resort - the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees, with over 100km of pistes
  • Ski home to the village on a pretty green run beside the river, or a blue piste through lovely deciduous woodland
  • Easy beginner slopes, long cruising blue pistes, challenging red- and black-runs and extensive off-piste. The Pic du Midi cable car is the highest lift in the Pyrenees and offers over 1000m of off-piste descent
  • Ski touring and off-piste ski safari weeks available for experienced skiers
  • Cheap flights to Pau-Pyrenees airport with Ryanair, or Toulouse with Easyjet and British Airways
  • Your hosts, Rob and Emma, are both qualified International Mountain Leaders, experienced chefs and local experts - being year-round residents in the Pyrenees
  • Apres-ski: Bareges has plenty of lively bars and restaurants, or take a dip in the sulphur spa - the highest thermal baths in France and the perfect way to relax after a hard day's skiing
  • Winter activities for non-skiers: snow shoeing, dog-sledding, skidoos, sledging and snow-balling!
  • Open in Summer for guided walking, cycling and multi activity holidays - all with qualified leaders
