Nestled partway up the mountain in a small hamlet called Chez Filou above the resort of Morillon, which is in the heart of the Grand Massif Ski area.
Built in 2002 the Chalet is a very spacious 300m2, newly furnished this season to the highest standard, With 6 bedrooms and 4 luxurious bathrooms it is the perfect mountain retreat.
Morillion is a traditional french alpine village nestled in the mountains of the Giffre Valley.
You can access the ski areas by the local bubble lift, offering 265 kms of varying pistes. Samoens is 8 kms away and is an old medieval town.
The Giffre valley is beautiful in winter covered in snow and the old Savoyard farmhouses are decorated with twinkling lights for Christmas.
In Summer the pink and red flowers spill from window boxes fill the valley with colour. The valley is carpeted in green and the mountains look spectacular against the blue alpine sky. The blue lake offers safe swimming, flat cycle tracks along the river and a fantastic kids adventure park.

2 Bedrooms are ensuite, with showers wc and heated towel rails
A further 2 Bathrooms have showers and baths.
The bedrooms are all aprox 15sq metres and are provided with luxury linen, duvets, towels and hairdryers.
Each bedroom has a beautiful view of the Giffre valley. All six are air conditioned.
There are several excellent restaurants serving Savoyard cuisine. Morillon also has a bakery, butchers, supermarket, tourist office, pharmacy and sports equipment hire shops.
