  • The Pension Hoffelner is at 1200m and overlooks the Schladming Planai ski resort, a major 4 mountain ski area forming part of the Ski Amade region. 860 km of piste on one lift pass, the most extensive area in Austria!
  • Set at the foot of the Dachstein, within easy reach of the Glacier, 2700m, guaranteeing snow all year.
  • Ramsau is a World Class cross country skiing resort & hosted the 2007/08 World Cup. 200km of pisted trails for Nordic and Classic cross country skiing right from the hotel's door.
  • Cross Country Ski Courses plus equipment hire, can be organised.
  • 40km of Alpine pistes in Ramsau, an excellent ski school and a beginners lift 200m from the house
  • Schladming is the largest local ski area, just 9 mins by car, the bus stop is handy or we run a twice daily shuttle
  • Ramsau has a 7km taboggan run. Night Sledging & a stop at a mountain hut makes a great evening out! Other activities include Horse drawn Sleigh Rides & Snow Walking
  • We can arrange Off Piste Days for the more advanced or skiing in several excellent local locations all within 20mins drive.
  • Slazburg Airport is only 1 hour away and minibus transfers can be arranged.

In Summer

  • Ramsau is a beautiful summer destination with numerous activites - walking, hiking, mountain biking, horse-riding, swimming, golf and sightseeing to many attractions of cultural interest.
  • For the more adventurous - canyoning, rafting, climbing and paragliding.

  • Evening Meals are served 6 nights per week. An alternative activity such as Night Sledging with a stop at a mountain restaurant can be organised for the 7th night.
