• Chalet Jora is a traditional chalet situated in the heart of Bansko’s picturesque old town. Bansko is the biggest and best ski resort in Bulgaria, at 2900m there are over 70km of pistes and you can ski right down into the resort.  If you are looking for great quality, unbeatable value skiing then look no further.
• Based in an excellent central location, Chalet Jora is only 200 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops. 
• The gondola station in Bansko is only a short walk from the chalet, however we provide a flexible free shuttle service to and from the lift each day in our chalet minibus

Summer Self-Catered

Chalet Jora is a perfect base for summer stays in Bansko due to it's Old Town location. There is a 4 night minimum stay and you have private use for up to 14 people. 

• The chalet has been recently renovated but retains charming features such as wooden beams and log fire.
• There are 2 family rooms, each sleeping 4 people, 2 double rooms and 1 twin room. The pine bedroom furniture has been hand-made specially for the chalet.
• 4 modern bathrooms, all with powerful showers
• Large lounge with comfy sofas and log fire. The lounge also has a fully stocked bar and a selection of computer and board games as well as movies and books.
• Spacious dining room where you can enjoy our hearty home-cooked meals. Unlimited local wine and soft drinks are served throughout your meal.
• Board games, cards, smart TV with Netflix as well as DVD library and Wifi internet all for your entertainment.

We are passionate about food and we believe that after a hard day on the slopes, the most satisfying reward is a hearty home-cooked meal, made from fresh, local produce.

The Total Chalets breakfast consists of eggs, porridge, fresh bread, cheese, tomato, salami, cereals, fruits, yoghurts and conserves with tea, coffee and juice. 

When you return from the slopes or après-bars in the afternoon, a large freshly baked cake will be waiting for you, along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate for you to help yourselves to.

A delicious 3 course evening meal is served on either 3 or 5 nights of your stay, washed down with local beer and wine. The chalets have fully stocked honesty bars, and we also have a selection of world wines available for you to purchase.

It is no problem for us to cater for people with special dietary requirements, such as vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free diets. Please just let us know on the booking form if special meals are required and our chalet staff will be happy to cater for you.

Kids Meals

We are happy to cater for children at an earlier dinner time. Our children’s meals are well balanced and are prepared with fresh, local, often organic produce.

An example of our children’s menu:

• Fresh fruit juice, milk or soft drinks of your choice
• Homemade cottage pie, topped with cheese and served with fresh vegetables
• Ice-cream selection

Parents staying with infants are welcome to use the chalet kitchen to warm milk and prepare food, however we are happy to help with this.
