Meribel - Les Allues

Chalet l'Ancolie

sleeps up to 14

A lovely chalet with good access to the Olympic Gondola, and possibility of skiing back to the chalet for much of the winter!

  • Les Allues is the first mountain town you see on your way up to Méribel, a lovely original Savoyarde village with narrow streets, beautifull old barns, many coverted into luxurious accommodation. A small traditional and picturesque village at 1100 m.
  • Once a quiet hamlet, it is now a popular alternative to the main resort and maintains the true character of this beautiful alpine region. Amongst the old stone buildings and rambling streets, visitors will now find a supermarket, ski rental shop and a choice of bars and restaurants.
  • The village is part of the world's largest ski area, Les Trois Vallees. Connected by a gondola lift from Brides Les Bains below to Méribel above. Les Allues is the choice of many returning skiers. It is more chilled and more traditional than Méribel, but still provides a good variety of services and facilities.
  • Chalet L'Ancolie is only 100 metres from the Olympic Gondola leading into Meribel centre. And for much of the winter it is possible to ski back within almost to the door of your chalet via a gentle run through the trees.
  • It is in a prime location in the heart of the village centre of Méribel Les Allues. The chalet is characterised by traditional Savoyard wood.
  • Catered Chalet on half board basis: your chalet staff wil cater for breakfast, afternoon tea and three course dinner in your chalet.
