The Isba is a welcoming Chalet Hotel superbly situated in the heart of resort, across the road from the slopes or just a couple of minutes from the main ski lifts. If you are after a great location, proximity to the slopes, good company from like minded skiers, friendly staff, great food, good value and aren't bothered by the size of your bedroom (not large!), lack of mod cons or decor then the Isba is most probably for you.

Accommodation:

Whilst the bedrooms are compact and simply furnished, they are more than adequate with nearly all having full en-suite facilities. There is a large dining room with a cosy seating area adjacent and reception area at the entrance. On the lower ground floor is the in house bar - The Isbar, with plenty of armchairs and seating and a touch of the 70s retro feel about it (we would like to say this is because we keep up to date with trends but do own up to this being original!). It is the perfect spot to relax after a hard day on the slopes with a drink or two before dinner. Most days afternoon tea is also served in the bar.

Cuisine:



  • Breakfast - buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and jams accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition there is a daily cooked option such as scrambled egg and tomato served each day apart from the chalet staff day off and change over day. For the traditional skiers amongst you we can of course offer porridge on request!
  • Afternoon Tea - discuss the day's skiing with your fellow guests whilst enjoying delicious home-made cakes or biscuits, bread and jam and piping hot tea and chocolate to keep you going until dinner.
  • Dinner - three course meal (with a vegetarian alternative if preference is stated at time of booking) is served with house wine and followed by coffee
  • Wine - We serve a  house red and white wine in all of our chalets, or you can purchase wine from the bar.  




Services:

  • Our in resort staff will ensure that you have an excellent holiday.
  • They will collect you from the airport and assist you with ski school, ski hire and ski pass requirements.
  • They are on hand throughout your stay to arrange that all important apres-ski, to help familiarise you with your resort and accommodation and to assist with any queries you may have.
