We are Mike and Sue Brinsley, and Chalet des Cimes is our home in the Alps. We are situated in a small hamlet just below the ski station of Sainte Foy.

Get away from the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet of a genuine French hamlet, whilst having easy access to some of the biggest, best and highest ski resorts in the world - Val d'Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, and La Rosiere (with its link into La Thuile in Italy and some great lunches!) are only minutes away in our chalet vehicles, plus the brilliant resort of Sainte Foy is only just up the road. The choice is yours ! Stick to your favourite, or choose a different resort every day, depending on the weather and snow conditions.  Never lose a ski day!

Accommodation:

  • 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower/wc, handbasin. Specially built beds can be made up as doubles or singles.
  • Large living/dining room on top floor, with stunning views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Large picture windows, log fire, comfy sofas, beautiful beamed roof
  • Music system (bring your own favourites) and chalet games
  • Satellite TV, Video,  and DVD player with selection of videos and DVD's

Cuisine:

  • The evening meal is a major part of our chalet culture.  Prepared and served by a professional chef, this four course meal is of a standard that you would expect from a high quality restaurant.  French wines are served with the meal and are included in the price.
  • Complimentary wine and beer with a selection of nibbles is served during "cocktail hour" before dinner
  • Home-made cakes are available when you return from skiing
  • Beers, wine, mixers and soft drinks are available from our honesty bar, so feel free to bring your own favourite spirits

  • Bed and breakfast every day
  • Afternoon tea and cakes, pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, four course evening meal with wine and coffee on each day but one (chalet day off is normally Wednesday, but may vary)
  • Hand towels, bath towels and soap
  • Transportation around the various resorts in courtesy chalet vehicles
  • Ski safaris and accompanied skiing
  • Use of outdoor hot tub
  • Transfers to/from Bourg St Maurice whenever possible.  (Not available after 10.00am on peak Saturdays)
  • Owners (Mike and Sue Brinsley) on hand to give advice and assistance on where to ski, hire equipment, eat, drink the best beer … and make sure you really enjoy your stay
