  • Chalet Number One, situated in a peaceful Alpine hamlet close to Sainte Foy, is a 400 year old farmhouse, which has been lovingly restored by Sarah and Lloyd Rogers who have been operating the chalet for 14 years and are, as such, the longest running chalet operators in Sainte Foy!
  • The idyllic resort of Sainte Foy is the firm favourite of Chalet Number One's clients.
  • Lift prices are incredibly low (around just £80 for a 6 day adult pass for 2006/7 with discounts on day passes in all the neighbouring resorts!) and you often have the pistes to yourself, even in peak periods! With a new 6-man high speed chairlift and two new blue pistes for this season, the ski area will be even bigger and the fabulous off-piste runs back to Chalet Number One even more accessible!
  • Ideally placed for the independent skier and snowboarder, Tignes/Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and La Rosiere are all within 20 minutes drive of Chalet Number One, allowing you to choose the resort with very best snow and weather conditions on a daily basis.

Accommodation:

  • Chalet Number One is a fully-restored 400 year old stone Alpine farmhouse with beautiful original features. It is regularly photographed as one of the most faithfully restored buildings in the area, and is featured in many of the books on the local style of architecture.
  • Full of warmth and character, the chalet can sleep up to 16 - all 7 bedrooms are individual, some with ensuite facilities, there are numerous bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets.
  • Delicious meals are taken around the enormous dining room table upstairs.
  • Wonderfully comfortable and cosy lounge in the oldest part of the chalet dating back 400 years complete with the original log-cabin style wood-lined walls. We have added lots of squashy sofas and a roaring log fire so you'll really be in heaven!
  • A large selection of games, books, videos and dvd's are available for your entertainment.
  • Honesty bar in the chalet with a selection of beer, wine and soft drinks.
