  • Chalet Grianan is situated in the Swiss alpine village of Volleges below the world renowned ski resort of Verbier and the Four Valleys.
  • Verbier is one of the sunniest spots in Switzerland and the self-catering accommodation offers a quiet and relaxing place from which to enjoy the superb skiing in the Verbier region and the fabulous hiking trails and mountain biking.

Chalet Grianan is situated on a high sunny meadow in the quiet and picturesque village of Volleges in the Bagnes Valley below the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.

  • Catering option available: if you would like some catering done for you in advance, or a couple of special dinners cooked for you during your stay, please contact us for details and prices.
  • Own transport is essential at Chalet Grianan. It is a 4 minute drive to the main cable car station in Le Chable serving Verbier and the 4 Valleys which avoids any early morning lift queues in Verbier, or a 20 minute drive up the hill into Verbier itself where there is a large sports complex with swimming pool and ice rink, many restaurants and bars, shops, banks, ski hire shops and two main lift stations on to the slopes.
  • Just below the chalet in Sembrancher there is a large Co-op and in Le Chable there are a couple of supermarkets, banks, post office, bars and restaurants.
  • The large town of Martigny, 15 minutes drive down the valley, is a major shopping centre with large supermarkets, many restaurants and bars and the famous art gallery - the Giannada Foundation.
