Does anybody have a little chalet available last minute suitable for a couple with 2 dogs for a short break 14-18/1 (dates fixed)? Anywhere within 2-3 hours of Geneva considered.

Doesn't have to be in the middle of a resort, we're happy to drive. Ideally it'd have some garden and nice walks from the door. We know the snow is pretty scarce and Jan is very quiet, so looking for a good last minute price.

It sounds like Chamonix is the perfect place for you. Chamonix is a large resort with a wide range of high altitude skiing from alpine pasture cruising via forest runs through to big mountain steep and deep. All with the constant backdrop of the biggest mountains in western Europe.It is also just an hour from Geneva directly on motorway.

We have a cosy two person chalet with log fire which is available for the four nights you require.
It is located in quiet gardens, but is just two minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix and the ski bus. You can walk to the nearest cable cars in five to ten minutes.
There is private parking and wifi.
We are also dog friendly. There are numerous trails starting within a couple of minutes of the chalet, all perfect for dogs.
