I am looking to take the family of 4 (2 kids aged 7 and 8) for a week in the Alps this summer. We are spending a week camping prior to this in northern Italy, so are fairly flexible for location as we are driving down.
Looking for a base that has various activities suitable for the kids ages (they're too young for biking in the mountains) but enjoy swimming, exploring, and skiing (if glaciers are near?). Re accommodation, would look at all grades, but ideally have somedreature comforts and on site swimming pool/hot tub would be ideal. Another family of 4 may join us if availability suits.....

We have availability at the moment for your group of eight and can offer either the option of bed and breakfast or with an evening meal for up to five nights out of seven. Our price for bed and breakfast is £225 per adult or £350 with a two course evening meal with wine on five nights, discounts for children.
If necessary we can also arrange your transfers from Geneva including bikes or we have plenty off road parking at the chalet.
There is an above ground pool in the garden which is solar heated, garden furniture, fire pit with pizza stone and BBQ for guests to use. We also have storage, wash down facilities, bike pump and work stand. The chalet also has a large comfy lounge with free sat tv, dvd, hifi, docking station, free wifi, games room with table tennis, air hockey, den with Wii and lots more.
As we are part of the multi pass scheme we can also offer our guests the card for just 2€ a day for entry into the indoor and outdoor complex in Morzine, Aquariaz in Avoriaz, tennis courts – we have rackets you are welcome to borrow, mountain lifts for walkers and lots more plus discounts on other events.

We would love to look after you and the family this summer.
We are about 3 hours drive from the border of Northern Italy, through the Tirol and on down to the beautiful Austrian Lungau valley where we are based in St Michael. It's a really easy drive, mostly on motorway, we have travelled the route many times form the Dolomites to here over the past few years when we were searching for our perfect chalet to buy.
There is lots to do for families in this area, from the high ( and low) ropes course and Flying foxes just a 5 min drive away to rafting,archery, horse riding, hiking (obviously) but also adventure hikes to join with kids playgrounds along the way. Our local castles have events that kids can take part in, such as 'junior Knights' and there is always the Geocaching treasure hunt.
There is a heated outdoor pool with slides, a restaurant and comfy loungers in the village, it also has a mini golf course and is just a 5 minute drive or 15 min walk. There are climbing and bouldering walls too. A fishing lake just across from the chalet and tennis courts less than 3 mins away.
All in all a wonderful place for any active holiday.
We would be able to offer you 2 spacious en-suite rooms, breakfast daily and a 3 course hearty dinner on 6 evenings, with wine for you and your wife.....obviously the kids would have their choice of soft drinks or juices for £900 for you all for the week.

The apartment affords a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, three bedrooms and a twin bedded mezzanine area, there are no bed settees! The living room has luxurious leather reclining seating and flat screen television that will accommodate most game systems. The dining area has a large pine table that comfortably seats 8 and gives views across the valley, and access via french doors to your private balcony. There is also free Wi-Fi.

We have everything that you are looking for and more: a great location with direct access to the Dranse Valley "dereche" (swimming pool, river walks, horse stables etc, and 5 minutes drive to the villages’ own lake (swimming, canoeing etc); secluded balconies and sun deck with a 12 person jacuzzi that we use as a "plunge pool" in the summer.
We operate a bed and breakfast service in the summer with the option for evening meals by agreement.

My chalet at St Jean D'Aulps, near Morzine is available for your dates. I think the chalet and the location are perfect for a summer holiday, that is why I bought it as a holiday home! The area is beautiful, St Jean D'Aulps, Morzine and the surrounding villages are pretty and have traditional Alpine architecture, they are not modern purpose built ski resorts. The area is lively in summer with all sorts of activities available, as listed on my ad page, and events taking place. You can also visit Lake Geneva and its surrounding towns like the medieaval town of Yvoire and the spa town of Evian.
The chalet has a pretty garden with views accross the valley, bordered by a mountain stream. We don't have a pool or hot tub, but there is a public outdoor pool in Morzine and a shallow swimming area for kids at the nearby Lac Du Montriond.
The chalet can comfortably accomodate two families of four as it has two double bedrooms and two bedrooms which we can set up either as twins or doubles, plus three bathrooms (one ensuite).
I can offer you a discounted rate for early booking of €800 for the chalet for the week. This is on a sole occupancy, self catering basis, and includes linen and cleaning before and after your stay.

I can see you have lots of replies already but we'd add another vote for Chamonix - there's simply nothing like it in summer, and if you're in Northern Italy you can head through the Mont Blanc tunnel and you're there!
There's tonnes to do - great hiking and walking from low valley level right up to to the top of Mont Blanc :) The outdoor public pool is awesome for kids and a great place to sunbathe and spend the whole day, and there are swimming lakes in nearby Passy (10 mins). Chamonix is really geared up for summer with companies offering great activities.

Our converted farmhouse is in the the Austrian Alps in the village of Lessach in the Lungau area of Salzburgerland, just half an hour drive from the main A10 motorway into Italy (we are about 2 hours from the border).
We have 4 large en-suite rooms available for Sat 1st - 8th Aug 2015 and we can offer you our family room for £852 or 2 separate rooms for £1136. The price includes breakfast and afternoon cake each day and 3 course evening meal with wine on 4 of the 7 nights plus a 'Lungau card' each which gives you free and discounted entry to all the activities in the are - a massive saving for families. We have a number of excellent swimming pools and outdoor activity areas less than 10 minutes drive away plus specific children themed mountain walks and valley cycle rides all from our doorstep.
We have a spacious lounge, dining room, spa room, equipment room, bike storage and lovely south facing garden to relax in.
It is like stepping back in time here, local children can play, walk and cycle up the valley on their own in complete safety. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the air is clean and water crystal clear. The fields are full of flowers and butterflies.
For evenings eating out we have a restaurant across the road and every Wednesday in the main town of Tamsweg down the road there is a traditional music event where you can also eat and drink. The main square has lovely restaurants and bars that you can sit out at.

Chalet Bellevue is located in Chamrousse – a small resort 30 minutes from Grenoble. The chalet has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 12 people.
In Chamrousse you will find, Hiking, Mountain biking, Climbing, Tree top course and zip lines, Via ferrata, Paragliding, a tennis club, a wellness and massage centre and Nature trails. The chalet itself has a barbeque, great views from the balconies, a games room and can by arrangement tennis rackets and up to 5 mountain bikes can be borrowed.
There is a public swimming pool nearby in St Martin d’Uriage and two golf courses in Uriage de Bains, a beautiful spa town only 20 minutes drive. Grenoble itself is certainly worth exploring especially the old town with La Bastille reached by cable car.
Our family had a great time last summer trying out most of the activities, visiting the local area and watching Le Tour.

Le Grand Joux is a very special place for a family holiday. We have availability for the dates you have requested. We can offer you bed and breakfast or any meal option that you require. We have an indoor pool, out door hot tub and sauna. We have 3 treatment rooms with award winning equipment so lots of opportunity for some pampering. Our food is delicious and can be adapted to suit children.
We have a concierge facility who will recommend activities of which there are many for all different ages. Once you decide what you want to do we can book everything and suggest which days and times are best.

Fully catered.
Cost would be £325 per adult and £225 per child.
The chalet is great for families as it has a huge garden with garden games and hot tub. Massive living / dining room, large snug with books and games, bat games room with table tennis and pool as well as a large TV room with Wii and Ps2. Wifi throughout the chalet. Fabulous food and great service.
