| We are one family composed of seven adults and four children. As our parents are joining us (and also looking after some of the children while we ski) it is important that they can reach the chalet by car so they can be flexible in heading out during the day. As they never hit the slopes some degree of comfort of the chalet is desired.
Catering is not necessarily desired but if it's the only package deal available we'd like to consider it..

How about a catered chalet with hot-tub in the centre of the 3 Valleys?
Le Marmotton is a lovely chalet with an outdoor hot-tub on a large South-facing terrace. The chalet has 5 en-suite bedrooms, and can sleep 10 - 12 people. It has a log-fire, wifi, TV with free-to-air UK channels, and DVD player. The chalet is just below the centre of Meribel, and we run you to the slopes and back each day in our private minibus (this takes just 2 minutes, door to slopes). There is parking outside the chalet, so your parents can come and go as they please, although I would recommend snow chains or 4WD for the short driveway up to the chalet.
Le Marmotton is fully catered and is available from Saturday 20th to 27th February 2016.
Our service includes cooked breakfast, afternoon tea served by your chalet host, 3-course meals with canapés, unlimited wine, complimentary beer, and a couple of bottles of bubbly when you arrive.
We can serve earlier kids' meals if you'd like them. And we'll adapt the menu to suit your tastes.
The price for exclusive use of the chalet for the week is £8200 fully catered.

Chalet Shiraz in Chamonix (www.AlpEscape.com) will hopefully be ideal for you. The chalet has 6 en-suite bedrooms and a large open-plan living area with a traditional, cosy chalet feel, open log fire, SKY plus TV, outdoor hot tub and lovely views. We're a 5 minute drive from ski lifts and town, but what may be of interest is we have a full time driver who is available at any time for lifting children, parents or grandparents. We are located in the Tarentaise Valley, just sitting peacefully below La Rosiere ski resort at 1400m in a traditional alpine village.
We have the advantage of being in a jaw dropping location that takes your breath away, with mountains and valleys at your finger tips, but within an easy 9 minute drive (on perpetually cleared roads) to the resort above.
The wonderful thing about our position is that you also have a massive choice for ski destinations - La Rosiere, La Thuile (Italy), Ste Foy, access to Les Arcs, La Plagne - all within a 15/20 minute drive away! And if you wish to drive a teeny bit further, you are in Val d'Isere and Tignes within 35/40 mins.
We are able to host 12 people in a mixture of double, twin, bunk and a cosy futon bedrooms - served by a combination of en-suite or adjoining bathrooms, with lovely underfloor heating and fantastic mountain pressure hot water.
Our chalet is a lovingly restored Savoie farmhouse, with roaring fire and has a wonderful hot tub for soaking away the trials of a day on the slopes or for star gazing in the awesome scenery.

We have a catered chalet in Peisey Vallandry, in the heart of the Paradiski region of Les Arcs and La Plagne. It's available from Sunday the 21st of February, taking advantage of the quiet pistes on Saturday's and the quiet roads on Sunday's. The price for sole occupancy use is 5500 GBP.

The chalet has a large south-facing balcony, with a wood-fired hot tub and incredible mountain views. There is a large living room with log-fire, WIFI and TV with DVD player and games. There is also a guest kitchen area where we serve breakfast and afternoon tea. There are 4 double rooms, 1 twin and 2 bunk rooms, sleeps up to 20 people and is available on a half board basis.
Underneath the chalet is a bar and restaurant, where we serve you a delicious 3-course dinner with wine six nights of the week, and you can enjoy a few drinks after a great day out on the piste.
The chalet is run by a professional Chef and a Host, who are there to look after you during your stay. Included in the price is a continental breakfast with cooked options, afternoon tea and a 3-course dinner with wine, plus a daily room clean. We also offer a concierge service for ski passes, lessons and hire, plus any other activities you may wish to include. A nanny service, plus spa treatments are available.
We run a transport service for beginner skiers but for those that can ski, the nearest ski lift is just 50m from the chalet. A regular, public shuttle bus is available to the village. We can also offer a airport transfer service.

The Alpine Refuge is located just 8 minutes walk from the SuperMorzine lift and the centre of resort. This chocolate box chalet has 5 bedrooms, an extra bunkbed room (no window), an open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and spectacular views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, boot warmers, plus a hot tub and a sauna. Even though the chalet is within easy walking distance of the lifts we still offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus stops just at the end of the private drive.

The resort itself is very picturesque, but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square and the ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in just 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!

We are free 21-28 Feb if that suits you, cost only 3,300 Euros.
Chalet 'La Credence' is close to the village of Morzine in the French Alps. A charming and lovingly restored farmhouse with log fire dating back to the nineteenth century, it retains the ambience of a family home. This is reflected in the welcome you'll receive when you stay with us. The Chalet sleeps 16-18 in comfort and a free ski-bus stops outside the door.
The main living room is spacious with plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax. Sky TV, DVD and Apple Bluetooth docking station speaker for iPhones are provided, as well as a large selection of board games. Free super-fast WiFi is also provided. There is a Wine Fridge, Dishwasher, & Washing Machine etc in the fitted kitchen.
Although the interior of the chalet is non-smoking, we do provide an outside area for those who require it. Rooms vary in shape and size as reflects the character of the building, but all are decorated and furnished to a high standard. We have a charming, enclosed garden to the front of the chalet where you can sit and relax in the sun and there is a large car park suitable for 4 - 6 vehicles, if you are driving over to the Alps.

| Chalet Dahu is a traditional pinewood chalet, in a great location, next to the blue piste and 250 metres from the resort centre.
There are five twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, all with their own bathrooms. Most have their own balconies, with excellent views onto the piste. The open plan living area is cosy and inviting with log fire, and a large terrace looking out across the piste.
There is an electric boot warmer in the ski room where you are able to leave your skis safely and enjoy the luxury of warm boots the next morning. With an outdoor hot tub and sauna, for your enjoyment at the end of a hard day's skiing, this chalet ticks all the right boxes.
We do not include flights with our holidays, but can help with transfers from the major airports. We charge £75 per person for a return shared transfer from Geneva and £70 per person for a return shared transfer from Chambery.

I see you have had lots of replies but not all for the Portes du Soleil, so if you are still deciding, then I have another option for you for the week 20th - 27th Feb right in the centre of Morzine, at Les Ploches 5. It's an ideal location as it's 300m from the SuperMorzine bubble, and only 2 minutes walk to the new supermarket (used to be ED). The building has a lift, making it easy to get in and out for the the grandparents & children.
Les Ploches 5 itself is a lovely, modern, bright and comfortable apartment, but with the benefit of a log fireplace, which many apartments don't have. It has a newly refurbed kitchen and the whole apartment has just been redecorated. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and it can sleep 11 altogether.
The apartment is also available up to 1st March if you were interested in extending your stay - the group who have just booked the following week have told me they're not going to arrive til 1st March.
The rate from 20th - 27th Feb is €3100 including linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. To have the extra 3 days would be €1300 extra.

You would have sole occupancy of the chalet. Our Catered rate is £600 (860€) per person. Children aged 5-12 have a 20% discount and the under 5’s stay for free.
We are situated a short distance from the main ski area of Alpe d'Huez, offering a peaceful retreat after a day on the slopes. We recommend our guests hire a car from the airport. We offer a discount with a local car rental company.
