We are an owner run chalet, in the village of Vaujany, which links directly to Alpe d'Huez. We are just 4 minutes walk to the cable car lift station where the very friendly ESF ski school meet.
Full details of our four bedroom chalet can be found on www.JazSki.com - we are very well set up for self-catering. Extras include a games room, two TVs, with price including linen, towels, electricity, water and logs for the fire.
Change over day is on Sunday, which makes it very easy when driving from UK. No rush !!
It also means the last days skiing is on Saturday when most other people are heading home, leaving the slopes empty.
On arrival you will be met by my English agent who will show you around Jazmin and explain what is happening in the village.
Price for week commencing Sunday 14th Feb 2016 £3,000.

Location: La Combe, St Martin de Belleville, 3 Valleys | Hi Sarah,
I think Chalet Ferme de La Combe would be perfect for you. We have 5 comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite (1 double and 4 twins but the twins can be configured as doubles if required). We also have a large, comfortable relaxing area centred round a wood burner/TV/DVD, a large dining area and a fully-equipped modern kitchen.
The house is situated in a traditional Savoyard hamlet called La Combe which is a short 5-6 minute drive from the lifts at St Martin de Belleville. There is private car parking at the house and the car park at St Martin is just opposite the bubble lift so no walking through the resort in ski boots at both ends of the day!
There are good ski schools and good beginner and intermediate runs in St Martin itself and Les Menuires (which is larger and close by) is on the same skipass but you also have access to the whole of the Three Valleys.
We also have a catering partner Chalet Kitchen (www.chaletkitchen.com) who can supply breakfast every morning and can also deliver delicious evening meals at the same time, for you to reheat when you return from ski/apres-ski. This gives you the choice of self-catered, BnB or fully catered.
The house is currently available self-catered for the week of 13/2/2016 to 20/2/2016 (and 20/2/2016 to 27/2/2016) for €3,000 per week.
To include breakfast only allow €321. To include evening meal only allow €785. To include both breakfast and evening meal allow €1001.

We would like to suggest Chalet Tranquille. Priced at Chf 3600, approx £2350 (plus electricity, about Chf 120, and your tourist tax Chf 2.50 per adult per night, Chf 1.25 per child per night)
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, parking for 1 car in front of the chalet, more free parking about 100m.
600m to the slopes, free bus stop is 100m.
La Tzoumaz is a family friendly resort directly connected to Verbier, but without the 'snob' factor! Excellent nursery slope and blue runs (the swiss don't use the green category) on this side of the mountain which has much quieter slopes.
Driving from UK is straightforward, see our reviews on here...there's a couple from previous half term guests.
Supermarket, swimming pool, ice rink, ski shops (-15% discount on rental kit), 5% discount on family price lift passes, printed on site, ready for your arrival.

YOu can ski to within 50m on an easy blue piste and to lifts further down. We also operate a free minibus shuttle to ski school and the main lifts.
There is plenty of free, off-road parking beside the chalet.

If you want to try something completely different then have a look at this...
It is a beautifully restored 18th century monks quarters nestled in the small village of St Jean De Belleville. The chalet extends over 250m squared and has every modern luxury, including a Jacuzzi bath, a wood burner and a separate gas stove. The photos below tell the story much better:

It is only a short drive from the extensive skiing of the Three Valleys (Access from the lovely resort of St Martin de Belleville). Whilst you said you want to be near slopes this allows you to park right at the foot of the slopes, so no lugging ski gear around!
