We are looking for a sole occupancy catered chalet for 14 people, 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 children 6 years and under. Ski in/out ideally or within walking distance of a village. Budget circa 10K perhaps slightly more for a first class chalet. Significant family occasion so great food, wine and service required. Hot tub would be a nice touch too.

We are a English-run Chalet in Jasna, Slovakia. Jasna is the largest ski resort in Central Europe boasting many chair lifts and 4 high speed gondolas.
We charge £2000 in total for the whole chalet that week (sleeps 14). Ensuite, breakfast and afternoon tea is included, as well as an end of week evening meal. Restaurants and bars are a 5 minute walk away and very affordable - beer is €1 a pint, even on the mountain!
Apres ski includes the hot spring aqua park, ice hockey nights and go-karting.

Our chalets are in the peaceful and picturesque village of Le Bettaix, about 7 minutes' drive from Les Menuires (which is at 1800m). Les Menuires offers easy access to the Three Valleys ski area (including Val Thorens, at 2300m) with 600km of pistes suiting all abilities. From chalet Sara Marie the Bettex chair lift is just 150m. The new Bettex lift will go straight to the top of the centre of Les Menuires in one go (taking just 8 minutes)..….!

The Desmeuniere is a beautifully restored 18th Century Farmhouse with 8 ensuite bedrooms each with flat screen tv and dvd player. This luxury catered ski chalet boasts a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and vaulted ceilings, balconies with superb views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, a heated ski and boot room, a sauna, plus a sunken outdoor hot tub set in the stunning grounds. We provide a minibus service to the slopes each day plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet.

The resort is very picturesque but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square. The ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and Les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in under 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!
