| Hi,
I'm looking for accommodation for me (single parent) and my two kids (will be 13 and 11 next year) between 8th and 16th April 2017. Maybe a full week but happy with 5 days. I'd like to be high up (higher guarantee of snow), with lots of routes and pistes to explore, but within relatively easy reach from Geneva airport. Ideally transfers would be included or possible.
As I'm a single parent, I'd like it to be in a chalet/hotel where there will be other adults and children (ideally around my kids ages), so that we can mingle and make friends. Communal catered dinners would be great. I don't want separate meals for my kids or any child care services. We're good skiers so could ski in and out.
Happy for me and my kids to share a room with three beds, or two interconnecting room. As a single parent I need to watch the pennies so deals would be appreciated.

We have a lovely family run catered chalet at Samoens 1600. Don't be fooled by the altitude, we're actually very snow sure due to our proximity to Mont Blanc, and the snow record for Easter for the last few years has been absolutely superb. We're right up in the mountains, not down in the village, so it really feels like a remote hideaway, although we're actually only a few hundred meters from the bottom of the Char piste. Good skiers can ski back, although we do offer lifts for those who'd rather not - its less than 2 minutes in the minibus and you can just call us when you're ready to come back.
We can offer you a family suite, which is a large ensuite room, with the two children's beds in the room, but hidden around a corner, so it feels like two separate rooms. This is by far our most cost effective solution for families. You'd be looking at 550 euros for yourself, and 400 euros each for the children. We don't include transfers, but we can help to arrange them for you, as we have a friendly transfer company who know our chalet well. The transfer from Geneva is slightly under an hour, which is one of the shortest in the French Alps I believe.
We have really good facilities for children, including our own toboggan run in the garden and we provide the sledges. We've got a separate TV room with lots of DVDs. and a games room with a pool table and Table Football. With regards to other facilities, we also have an outdoor hot tub and sauna.

We are able to help you in a family suite in the chalet Gabrielle in Les Menuires for the 8th April for a week.
Gabrielle is one of our five ski-in/ski-out catered properties in the “Bruyeres” complex in Les Menuires and can welcome up to 12 adults and four children in en-suite rooms. There are four twin rooms (two of which have a balcony) and two family suites - each suite has a double en-suite room and an attached small twin cabine room ideal for children. The living room has a log fire and opens onto a large terrace with a hot-tub and fantastic views over the Belleville Valley. This is one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations in the Three Valleys with the gondola lift literally on your door-step to transport you quickly up to the pistes of Les Menuires and Val Thorens – and also over the ridge into the Meribel Valley! There are lots of facilities nearby as well – with a swimming pool, ski school and nursery next door along with a number of shops, bars and restaurants just a few hundred metres walk away.
