We are looking for a ski holiday over new year 2016. We are happy to drive from the UK to France but will consider other coutries, or alternatively can look at flights or the ski train. The party is pretty mixed which is causing us a few problems - we ideally would like a catered chalet or very small apartment hotel may work. There will be 2/3 adults who will be non-skiers, 1/2 adults beginners and 2 adults who are intermediate to advanced. The children have never skied before but would go to ski school or the equivalent. We don't really want to rely on resort transport - so either want to be within easy walking distance of ski lifts - or as we have done in the past know that the chalet can take you there on your own transport. I am not sure what your transfer days are but we would be looking for 5 - 7 days ideally. There may be some flexibity on budget depending on what is included but would be looking around £750 - £1k
We would ideally need to be back by 3rd Jan.
We are not choosy on resorts but would like snow surety where possible.

We have our catered Alpine Refuge in Morzine available on a sole occupancy basis from Tuesday 27th December 2016 through to departing on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.
The Alpine Refuge is located just 8 minutes walk from the SuperMorzine lift and the centre of resort. This chocolate box chalet has 5 bedrooms, an extra bunkbed room (no window), an open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and spectacular views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, boot warmers, plus a hot tub and a sauna. Even though the chalet is within easy walking distance of the lifts we still offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus stops just at the end of the private drive.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, early tea for the children if required, a pre-dinner drink and canapes, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 6 of your 7 night stay). We provide all bed linen, towels, bathrobes for adults, plus Occitane toiletries. If staying at this chalet you will also be able to take advantage of watching the fantastic New Years Eve fireworks from the privacy of your own terrace!

We have Chalet Martinet in Les Gets available for the 27th December-3rd January *dates can be flexible
It sleeps 8-10 people in 4 bedrooms has its own hot tub and sits right at the bottom of the Perrieres list in Les Gets. You have your own mini bus and driver though so if you wanted to ski elsewhere this would be no problem at all. They are there to take you where you need to go.
This chalet sleeps up to 10 in 4 en-suite bedrooms. Chalet Martinet has DIRECT access to the pistes by a little bridge linking its garden with the Perrieres slope. It is only 10 minutes on foot to the town centre.

Location: Les Deux Alpes | Hello,
If you're looking for a snowsure resort, then Les 2 Alpes is one to consider, with glacial skiing up to 3600m.
We can offer you exclusive use of Chalet Morville for the week commencing December 27th for 11000 Euros (around £9500) on a catered basis, including a free transfer from Grenoble airport (possibly also from Lyon or Chambery).
The chalet has five ensuite bedrooms, an outdoor hottub, sauna, cinema room with leather recliners, pool table, table football, gym (new for 2106), heated boot warmers and a spacious living area with several separate seating areas and a woodburning stove.
Les 2 Alpes is a great intermediate resort. It is also good for beginners, with beginner areas at resort level and at 2100m (so good quality snow to learn on!) For the more experienced members of your group there is some great all mountain skiing and also access to La Grave.
We are located in a satellite village of the resort, which is directly connected to the main resort area by a 6 person gondola, so no need to rely on resort transport. The gondola is within walking distance of the chalet, but we nevertheless offer a transfer service to and from it each day.
For the non-skiers, the chalet has lots to keep people entertained. We have snowshoes available, our village has various artisanal shops to browse, and there is a swimming pool and iceskating rink in the resort. Several restaurants up the mountain are accessible via a pedestrian lift pass, for you all meet up for lunch.
Our catering is of a high standard, and our chef this coming season, Hannah, is creative, with pastry being her specialty. On New Years Eve we have a gala dinner including champagne.

Our owner-run family chalet is available for your New Year ski holiday and at the moment we can be flexible on the dates, so let us know when would suit you best.
Our beautifully renovated 1830s farmhouse, with 4 ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 12 and off-road parking, is 8 hours from Calais or 75 minutes from Geneva airport, in the authentic French Alpine village of Sixt Fer à Cheval. Sixt is in the Grand Massif ski area, 265kms of great skiing for all levels, with excellent beginners' slopes including in Sixt itself, 200m from our chalet.
Our local ski area has its own ski school, with English-speaking instructors, equipment hire and restaurant/bars. While it's a short walk or ski from the chalet, we also provide flexible in-resort transport throughout the day, and to Samoëns and Morillon.
The whole area benefits from the fridge effect of Mont Blanc, giving it an excellent snow record. For non-skiers, there are walks and snow-shoeing (with guide or not) from the chalet. There's also a brand new skating rink nearby.
The chalet's spacious dining and living rooms, with separate TV/games area, is ideal for a large family group. The luxury hot tub on our garden terrace has fabulous mountain views. Our team includes a professional chef, who provides delicious meals for all diets. We adapt our service to your needs.
The per person catered rate for your stay is 975 euros, about £840 at the current exchange rate. This would also give you sole occupancy.
