We are a family of five, two adults and three boys aged 14,12 and 4 wanting to book a catered chalet immediately after Christmas for a skiing holiday. We can fly from Ireland to a few different airports, arriving to Lyon or Zurich or Basel on Dec 26th, or Zurich on Dec 27th, or Turin or Grenoble on 28th Dec.
We would also need to organise airport transfers, ideally less than 3 hours. We are open to staying in a chalet by ourselves or else sharing a larger chalet with other guests.
We would love some feedback as to availability and cost.

You can have 2 rooms or the family suite which would sleep you all and give you a private lounge too. Meals are in the dining room on the bottom floor with the other guests in a relaxed informal environment.

Location: Nendaz, 4 Vallées | Flying to Basel on 26 Dec would suit if you are interested in Secret Alps. This is a 4 bedroom penthouse in Nendaz, a family friendly resort with direct access into the 4 Valleys.
Trains from Basel to Sion are frequent and take just under 3 hours. We would then arrange a private transfer for you from Sion railways station up to Secret Alps.
Secret Alps is very comfortable and within an easy walk of the lift. It is offered on a self catering basis or having the evening meal delivered or a mix of both.

The nearest airport is Geneva but you could always hire a car to drive to the chalet from Lyon or Zurich if those airports worked better for you - there is plenty of parking at the chalet.

I am a professional chef and own and operate my traditional Savoyard chalet in the lovely, unspoiled village of Samoëns (‘The 4th largest ski area and in the top 3 snow sure resort in France’ -Daily Telegraph 2013; - about 1 hour from Geneva airport. Assistance with transfers. Parking in the chalet grounds.
From Samoëns you have access to the Grand Massif (265 km pistes - Flaine, Le Carroz, Morillon and Sixt Fer à Cheval). The Chariande Express, a 6 seater chair lift, between Samoëns 1600 and Tete de Saix has speeded up access to Flaine. Good snow record with a variety of pistes up to 2,500m.

We have our catered Alpine Refuge in Morzine available for the week commencing Tuesday 27th December 2016.
The Alpine Refuge is located just 8 minutes walk from the SuperMorzine lift and the centre of resort. This chocolate box chalet has 5 bedrooms , an extra bunkbed room (no window), an open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and spectacular views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, boot warmers, plus a hot tub and a sauna. Even though the chalet is within easy walking distance of the lifts we still offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus stops just at the end of the private drive.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, early tea for the children if required, a pre-dinner drink and nibbles, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 6 of your 7 night stay). We provide all bed linen, towels, bathrobes for adults, plus Occitane toiletries. On New Years Eve you can also enjoy watching the fantastic fireworks in Morzine from your very own private terrace overlooking the mountains.

We are able to offer ou the chalet Flora from the 26th December - 2nd January in a twin room plus a family suite.
Flora is part of our “Bruyeres” development in Les Menuires and one of three identical catered properties next door to each other. It can accommodate up to 12 adults and 4 children with four twin rooms (two of which have a private balcony) and two family suites which consist of a double room and an attached small twin cabine room ideal for children. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities with shower and WC. Chalet Daho renovated in early 2016 to a high standard, this elegant chalet is in the heart of the village of Le Praz, Courchevel offering 4 comfortable bedrooms each with own bathroom, sleeping 8-10 persons, over 4 floors. Daho is situated in the centre of the lovely French village of Le Praz, an ever popular section of the Three Valleys Ski area. Only 150m from the slopes and lifts this chalet has honestly got a great location, furnished using reclaimed and traditional woods and items this chalet offers a tasteful modern twist on the traditional alpine chalet. I am offering Daho sole occupancy, fully Catered for the week commencing 23rd December for £7875
Although in the lower village of Le Praz 1300 I can assure you that the links between the higher parts of resort are very quick and reliable. There are two lifts out of Le Praz, the gondola which goes straight to the ski school meeting point in 1850 (beginners area) and the new foret chair going over to La Tania improving the links between the full three Valleys ski area.
