Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hello,
If you fancy going somewhere other than Morzine... check out our chalet - we're at Samoens 1600, based right up in the skiing. I have to be honest, our chalet is best suited to people who want to feel like they're in their own little slice of Alpine paradise (ie. you can't walk to a bar from our chalet... well you could but you'd need hiking boots on).
Our chalet has everything you'd expect - all rooms are ensuite, we've got the outdoor hot-tub, sauna, great food, games room with pool table, cold beer fridge, heated boot room etc. We're unique though in that you can't see or hear another property from our chalet. Its great because you can be skiing within minutes of leaving the chalet and you don't have to queue with the masses to get up the mountain in the morning. It doesn't mean that you can't do Apres, we can collect you from the apres at either Samoens 1600 (or you can off-piste back to the chalet depending on how many vin chaud's you've had) or we can pick up at the apres at Vercland or Morillion. Also its not that hard to get a taxi down to Samoens village, but we would need to book it in advance.
A week would be 700 euros a head, so for four nights it would be 550 euros.
Anyway, have a think about it and let us know if this is of interest.

One drops you right outside the Ardent telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. We’re only 1 hour 20 minutes from Geneva airport and can organise your transfer from there if needed.
We can also help you organise your ski lessons, chalet delivery of ski equipment, and buy your passes in advance so that you can hit the slopes as soon as possible. Free WIFI is available. We are both chefs in Crete during the summer season so you will be well fed.
The pretty mountain village of le grand bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from, the telecabine to the slopes is just the other side of the village centre. Le grand bornand is only an hour from geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike. We are quite happy to organise transfers for you, reduced ski hire, and can organise lessons, and ski schools with enough notice. It's your holiday and we are happy to help you as much as we can.

We specialise in bed & breakfast weekends at Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Geneva airport and part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region.
You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Have you considered the Grand Massif ski area. It is truly a hidden gem with 265kms of piste, 69 lifts, 20 green runs,65 blue runs, 50 red runs and 14 black runs with the highest altitude 2,500 metres. Something for all abilities.
There is a blue run 150 metres from the chalet which guests can use if snow conditions are good, otherwise we take and collect you directly from the lifts.
We have availability for dates you want. All rooms have en suite facilities
The chalet is owner run and located between 2 ski lifts. Morillon village and Les Esserts 1100.
All our bedrooms are spacious with en-suite facilities and there is a large dining room and separate lounge for you to relax in after a hard day on the slopes.
The costs is £70 pp/pn
