| Hi
I am looking for a self-catered chalet for my group of 11 (poss may go to 12) for the week beginning 4th March 17. Although I have specified locations (we haven't been to those areas so would like to check them out) we would be open to other areas in France or Italy
key points would be that it is above 1500m, ski in / ski out or very near the lifts. Prefer a self-catered chalet but would consider a large apartment.
We are a mixed group of abilities with adults, teenagers and a 10yr old. Price would be mid range

We are in the Alp d’huez Ski Area which is high altitude at 3060 so snow sure all season. We have some of the best off piste and back country too and can organise guiding for your group.

The apartment is ideally situated just one hour by road from Geneva, on the sunny slopes of the strikingly beautiful upper Giffre valley. Directly opposite are Morillon, 2.5km, (5 mins drive) and the lovely alpine village of Samoens, 5km (10 minutes drive), which link easily to Flaine, Les Carroz and 265kms of piste which form the Grand Massif range, Frances 4th largest ski area.
You can find a selection of restaurants and an artisan bakery in Verchaix 1.5km down the hill, and Morillon village centre is 2km where there are more restaurants, bars, a , and shops. The nearest supermarket is 3km. In winter there is a ski bus stop 50 meters from the apartment.

How about Le Dauphin right in the heart of Alpe d'Huez. (1800m resort level with pistes up to 3330m).
The lifts are on your doorstep and you can ski back to within 50m of the chalet.
Its a great chalet for large groups and mixed ages with various dens/games rooms and a separate living room.
The price for the week starting 4th March on a sole-occupancy, self-catered basis is 7000 euros.

Chalet 'La Credence' is close to the village of Morzine in the French Alps. A charming and lovingly restored farmhouse with log fire dating back to the nineteenth century, it retains the ambience of a family home. This is reflected in the welcome you'll receive when you stay with us. The Chalet sleeps 16-18 in comfort and a free ski-bus stops outside the door.
The main living room is spacious with plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax. Sky TV, DVD and Apple Bluetooth docking station speaker for iPhones are provided, as well as a large selection of board games. Free super-fast WiFi is also provided. There is a Wine Fridge, Dishwasher, & Washing Machine etc in the fitted kitchen.
Although the interior of the chalet is non-smoking, we do provide an outside area for those who require it. Rooms vary in shape and size as reflects the character of the building, but all are decorated and furnished to a high standard. We have a charming, enclosed garden to the front of the chalet where you can sit and relax in the sun and there is a large car park suitable for 4 - 6 vehicles, if you are driving over to the Alps.
