We are a group of 5 people (me, my wife, her mother and our two children - ages 19 and 16) plus 3 small dogs.
We are looking for somewhere to spend the Christmas period close to skiing (ideally ski in/out), restaurants etc.
Not looking for a catered chalet as my mother-in-law enjoys cooking.
Budget is around £5,000.

Location: Morzine | We have a beautiful two bedroom/two bathroom apartment very close to the town centre, which sleeps 5-7 people.
It has a double ensuite bedroom. The triple bedroom on the lower ground floor has a double bed with a single bunk. All the rooms have a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The main living area is open plan with French doors leading onto a terraced decking area and has amazing views over the Morzine valley.
The kitchen is modern with integrated fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. It is stocked with a basic kitchen larder – including cleaning products. The dining area has a large pine table and sits up to 6 people in comfort.
The lounge has a large corner sofa (which is also a sofabed), a 32” TV, DVD player, UK channels, WiFi, iPod docking station and internet access. The cupboard is stocked with board games, DVDs and books. The second bathroom is just off the kitchen/dining area.
We provide a welcome grocery pack and bathroom toiletries.
The apartment is private and secluded, has its own parking space and is accessed by its own steps. There is a secure ski locker just outside the door for easy ski storage.
It’s a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. From the chalet it’s a 5 minute bus ride to all the main ski lifts – the buses run every 10 minutes and stop just outside the chalet.
The apartment is available for the dates you requested at a cost of 2,500 – including all linen/towels and an end of stay apt clean.

Location: Courchevel & La Tania, Three Valleys | I would like to offer Cristal, a lovely apartment also in the centre of Le Praz, Courchevel 1300. Opposite the Drop inn bar a short distance (400m) to the La Praz bubble and new Foret chair lift and piste with a small range of restaurants and shops in the village this is extended by the regular free shuttle service offered through the whole of Courchevel. Cristal is a well-equipped spacious apartment with four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people. Cristal is available self-catered for week commencing 24th December for 3950€ with an additional end of stay cleaning charge of 90€ payable locally.
Although in the lower village of Le Praz 1300 I can assure you that the links between the higher parts of resort are very quick and reliable. There are two lifts out of Le Praz, the gondola which goes straight to the ski school meeting point in 1850 (beginners area) and the new foret chair going over to La Tania creating great links between the full three Valleys ski area.

It is a beautifully restored 18th century monks quarters nestled in the small village of St Jean De Belleville. The chalet extends over 250m squared and has every modern luxury, including a Jacuzzi bath, a wood burner and a separate gas stove. The photos below tell the story much better:

Thank-you for your enquiry, we’d love to welcome you to the Meribel valley.
Chalet Gaillard in Meribel Mottaret has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 9 adults. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
The price for sole occupancy for 20 to 27 December is £6800 catered (or £5800 self catered).
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine.
Alternatively we have a self catered apartment Gentiane (in Meribel)available from 19th to 26th December for £2,000. The apartment is a generous 65 square metres with a huge double with en-suite bath and a spacious bunk room and a beautiful living area. There are 2 further single beds in the living room so the apartment can sleep up to 6 people.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers if you wish as we have good links with the local providers.
