We’d love to welcome you to Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just 8hours drive from Calais and part of the Portes du Soleil ski region.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. We provide holidays on a bed and breakfast basis - breakfast includes a choice of cereals, orange/apple juice, baguette, toast, butter/jams/spreads, yoghurts, croissants and also a cooked option with sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available all day.
Our on-site Sherpa bar offers great value snacks and dinner every night from 5-10pm so you can choose either to eat in or sample one of the local restaurants in the evening.

We have ensuite rooms available for your dates in our B&B chalet in Morzine. Morzine is in the vast Portes du Soleil area which has 650 kms of linked piste. We are only a 5 minute flat walk from the Super Morzine bubble lift and town centre, but in a quiet area. We are also close to 2 free bus routes. One drops you right outside the Ardent telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. We’re only 1 hour 20 minutes from Geneva airport and can organise your transfer from there if needed or have some parking. The price for 5 nights B&B is £290 per person.
We can also help you organise your ski lessons, chalet delivery of ski equipment, and buy your passes in advance so that you can hit the slopes as soon as possible. Free WIFI is available. Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 9 adults. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.

We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine.

Please note that we are able to assist with arranging any ski school, ski hire, lift pass and airport transfer requirements that you may have all in advance of your arrival date. We are just 1hr 15mins drive from Geneva.

We have availability in the self-catered apartment of our chalet in Morzine for 22nd - 27th December and can arrange a grocery drop for your arrival . The apartment has one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a lounge/dining room which doubles up as a 2nd sleeping area. It is the first level of the chalet, which looks out onto the garden and the spectacular views beyond, and has:

Location: Les Deux Alpes | Hello Liz,
I know that you've had lots of replies but if you are definitely after a white Christmas (it is a bit scarce at the moment - fingers crossed for more soon!) then Les 2 Alpes is one of the best resorts to head to at the moment, with good skiing at the moment from 2500m up to the top of the glacier at 3600m.
We can offer you a 5 night Christmas break for the three of you in two ensuite rooms for 500 Euros person (about £420) on a catered basis, and so including a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!
In terms of distance from Geneva, we are an easy 2.5 hour drive away which is mostly motorway driving. If you are coming from Calais, the drive is just over 8 hours.
The chalet is luxuriously appointed, with a spacious living area with wood burning stove, outdoor hot tub, sauna, games room with pool table, gym with wii and a cinema room with leather recliners.
We are located in a traditional village just outside the main resort area, but with a direct connection to it via a gondola, so access to the pistes is very simple.
