| | My Mum is 73, she wants a catered week away skiing. She tends to only ski 3.5 hours a day and often just with an instructor. However if anyone has other 70ish year old singles with them this week then I think she would welcome companionship. Location: Samoëns | Your mum is a skiing hero!
We can offer an ensuite room in our newly built catered chalet. There's a wood-burner, sauna, and outdoor hot tub.
We're an hour from Geneva, in Samoens. The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the villages and up in the Flaine bowl.
Our food is more Jamie Oliver than fine dining, the style is relaxed, and of course wine is included. And more often than not, there's a tot of single malt in the coffee too. Catered service includes breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee/cake everyday - and 3 course dinner 6 out of the 7 nights - leaving you one night to explore the local restaurants.
We loathe walking in ski boots and waiting for ski-buses, so we have a minibus to do door-to-lift shuttles. Its between 2-4 minutes to any of the local lifts, depending on which one you choose to go to.
We're just a 5-10 minute walk to the village of Morillon, or 5-10 minutes on the free ski-bus into the bigger Samoens. Samoens has lovely shopping, cafes/bars, ice-skating, botanical garden & spa facilities - so good for any non-ski days.
At the moment, the other booking we have that week are a mid-40s couple (an old school friend of mine), so we're expecting it to be a relaxed, gentle fun week, as opposed to full on hair-raising party time. Unless your mum wants to lead us astray  And no problem with part-ski days, we're close to the ski bus stop, and most likely will be around to do a pick up from the lifts.
We can offer her a week for £550, with no single supplement.

Location: Peisey&Vallandry, Paradiski France | We welcome mature skiers at our chalet La grange d'Alice at les Arcs.
I am nearly 60, so I'll endeavour to be a good companion!
Our chalet La Grange d'Alice has 12 beds in 6 rooms, a sauna, hot-tub, wifi, log-fire minibar. You can ski to the door and we are 150m from the lift linking to the resort centre of Arc 1600.
We can arrange transport from Geneva (just over 2 hrs away). The price for a single occupancy ensuite room would be £500 GBP. I can arrange an instructor/guide to accompany for 3 or 4 hours a day.

We have a lovely chalet in Les Coches-La Plagne.
Price : £555
We don't have any 70 year olds staying that particular week but this is a nice week to come with the parents of one of our staff members and a guy who is mid 50's and his daughter and boyfriend.
I am happy to book an instructor and we would look after her well.
We don't offer airport tranfers but if she got an airport bus transfer we can always pick her up from Aime.
If it doesn't work out this time please bear us in mind for next season as we can try and team her up with an older group. We have had 3 older groups this season.

Thank-you for your enquiry, we’d love to welcome you to Meribel Mottaret.
We have a 6 day break available from 11 to 17 March in Chalet Gaillard for just £450 in an ensuite room.
Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers if you wish as we have good links with the local providers.
We know the Three Valleys well and as an independent chalet company we will tailor your holiday to your needs with our personal service.

Estelle is one of three identical properties which are part of our complex in Bruyeres - a collection of five ski-in/ski-out catered chalets in Les Menuires – from here you step immediately into the gondola lift which carries you up for easy access to the slopes of Les Menuires and Val Thorens as well as over the ridge into Meribel – it is one of the best locations in the Three Valleys!
