Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Tom,
We can sleep 20 in our catered ski chalet at Samoens 1600 which is a 60 minute transfer from Geneva, and we currently have availability for that week.
We have 4 large family suites which each sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and then we also have a double and a twin. All our rooms are ensuite.
We're not walking distance to the lifts, but we are a 3 minute drive to where we drop off our guests, which is directly onto the pistes, either a green nursery slope, a blue or a red slope. Our guests have commented that this is considerably easier with children, than having to walk to a lift carrying all their equipment. The other advantage is that because we are already at the top, you can be skiing whilst everyone else is queuing for the lift up from the village.
Our chalet is particularly well set up for families, as we have a huge 10,000 square meter garden with our own toboggan run and toboggans. We also have an outdoor hot tub with 360 degree views of the mountains and pistes.
Inside the chalet, we have a very large living space and can seat 20 in our lounge. We also have a separate TV snug, and a separate games room, so the children can watch movies or play pool after their early meal, whilst the parents relax with aperitifs before dinner. We got rave reviews on our food this year, which is all cooked in house using quality local produce.
For Feb half term week we charge 950 euros per adult and 700 euros per child aged 2-15. However, for a group of 20, we would offer you an adult place for free.

We have availability for your dates in Chalet de Valmorel, with 8 en-suite bedrooms and a hot tub, just 50 metres from the nearest ski lift taking you in to the Grand Domaine area with 200km of pistes. The chalet is 45 mins from Chambery and 1h45 from Geneva.
Valmorel is great for beginners through to advanced skiers, the nearest green run being 50m from the front door of the chalet but there are plenty of challenging blacks and some great back country. Chalets Grande and Petite Etoile are traditional luxury chalets situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining areas have a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. Thank you for your enquiry, we do have availability at the moment for half term for 20 people this would be £650 pp including return Geneva airport transfers( about 1 hour 15 minutes).
We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and would provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get you to your choice of lifts and back each day .You would have the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.
We are fully catered:
Champagne reception on arrival
4 course meal on 6 nights with complimentary wines please check out our facebook and trip advisor pages
Daily cooked and continental breakfast
Daily afternoon tea
Delivery of discounted ski kit directly to the chalet for fitting and lift passes.
The chalet is massive and the bedrooms are all en-suite and American sized our suite rooms have both a bath and separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them.
We have:
Snug room with log fire
Bar Billiard games room
TV room
Table tennis room
Heated Boot rack
Wifi throughout
Massive wrap around balcony on the living floor with amazing views.
Bar 5 minutes walk away, plenty of other distractions such as a new spa in Chatel, dog sleigh rides, ice skating and much more.
Chatel is a great resort for all abilities and also has some very good snow parks for boarders. Ski school is excellent and very handy for drop offs and pick ups.
