I thought it might be worth noting that its not possible to get to La Plagne from Geneva in 90 minutes. Its just about possible from Grenoble or Chambery so if you haven't booked your flights yet.
We're in the Grand Massif domaine which is a 60 minute transfer from Geneva and we're based up at Samoens 1600. We can sleep a maximum of 22 across 4 family suites (1 double bed and 2 singles in the eaves), a double and a twin. All are ensuite.
We also have a 10,000 square meter garden with our own toboggan run and toboggans, alongside our outdoor hot tub which has views of the mountains and pistes. We're actually the last catered ski chalet before you arrive at Samoens 1600, so we're very close to the skiing. You wouldn't want to walk it with children though, so we take you in our minibus and landrover and drop you directly onto either a green, a blue or a red run. Its literally click click ski, which our guests say is a lot easier than trying to get children up the mountain on the lifts in the morning.
That week we charge 950 Euros per adult and 700 Euros per child aged 2 to 15 for catered accommodation. For parties of more than 15 people we offer 1 adult place for free.

We’d love to welcome you to Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Geneva airport and part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. We provide holidays on a bed and breakfast basis - breakfast includes a choice of cereals, orange/apple juice, baguette, toast, butter/jams/spreads, yoghurts, croissants and also a cooked option with sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. We would love to welcome you in our village La Balme. The chalet is located at 90min drive from Grenoble airport and 6min drive of the ski resort Alpe d'Huez. We are an independent owner-run chalet, you can expect an exceptionnal and personnal service with great meals.
The Alpe D’huez ski resort has many good slopes for beginners and the longest black run in the world for advanced skiers. Our chalet is located in Auris, a family oriented village within the big resort.
The chalet of 220m2 offers four bedrooms and a mezzanine with 14 beds in total, four bathrooms, a large living area with comfortable couches, an open kitchen and a fireplace.

The Boutique Chalet in family friendly Les Gets is set in it own grounds overlooking Lake Geneva 5 metres from the piste at the bottom of a blue or green run as well as 3 ski lifts, right next to the ski school meeting point.
The location really cannot be beaten for with on piste access to the vast Portes Du Soleil ski area and, for any beginners - we are seconds from the magic carpet where the first lesson will be.
