| Looking for a high-altitude / 'snow-sure' resort for early season.
Dates are specific due to flight restrictions so needs to be Sat-Sat 16th Dec - 23rd Dec.
5 people are 2 adults and 3 children (aged 12, 10 and 5). 5 separate beds needed room config can flex but the 2 adults are myself and a friend and as much as I like the chap I am not sharing a double bed with him.
Requirements:
Catered chalet, chalet hotel or half-board hotel.
VERY close to beginners area for youngest childs first ski trip and close to lifts/pistes for rest of us. We do not want to need to take transport to / from slopes and will need to be able to ski-back to beginners area each lunctime to collect the youngest.
Flights are booked to Geneva arriving 16th - transfers included in quote would be preferred, shared or private is ok.
Hot-tub would be great
Good wifi is essential (unfortunately I cannot escape work completely!)
If by some miracle there is a small chalet that fits the criteria we may add a couple of more people or pay the premium for sole occupancy - but not essential.

A little bit about us:
We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.

Meribel is fantastic at making sure runs are open, and there's access to good snow up in Val Thorens.
Snowbel has good wifi. It is a small chalet ideal for your group. It does have the potential to squeeze in two more people. The main room is being completely refurbished, so you'll be one of the first to enjoy a better living area.

After a day enjoying the incredible Three Valleys skiing, soothe any aches in the hot tub then sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind with a glass of bubbly while your hosts create an indulgent four-course meal.
The open bar includes beer, house wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks, with hand-picked wines especially chosen to accompany each meal. Nespresso coffee and chocolates are served around the log fire. A hearty cooked breakfast and home-baked afternoon tea treats are served 6 days during the week.
Part of our luxurious service includes a complimentary massage – the definition of relaxation!
The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
We can also assist with airport transfers, our prices are £75 per person for a return shared transfer from Geneva and £70 per person for a return shared transfer from Chambery.
The price is £489 per person based on twin share.

We have 2 chalets available from 16 to 23 December in Meribel-Mottaret, Clementine and Gaillard.
They are situated opposite each other in the centre of town with a short walk to the slopes and ski school in the morning and to the restaurants, shops and bars for the evening.
Each chalet has 5 bedrooms. Clementine is all en-suite and sleeps 10 and has a sauna and open fire. Gaillard sleeps 8 adults (plus up to 4 children). Both properties living/dining areas are open plan with fabulous views, Gaillard has a sunny balcony and Clementine a terrace.
We can offer you 3 twin rooms in Clementine for £2565, a twin and triple in Gaillard for £1975 or sole occupancy in Clementine for £4340 or in Gaillard for £2935
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine. We also provide an earlier 2 course children’s meal.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers as we have good links with the local providers.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We can offer catered accommodation at Chalet Christy, ideally located in the Swiss resort of nendaz, part of the Verbier 4 valley ski area.
We have excellent early snow records, with the resorts runs, north facing, nursery slopes at 2200m. Top lifts at 3300m.
The chalet is located 100m from the ski lift/ski school meeting place. Neige Aventure offer group ski lessons, with many of the instructors British, so no language problems.
There are 8 bedrooms in total, 3 with en-suite facilities, 5 further rooms and 3 separate shower/w.c, We propose an ensuite with twin beds, plus an adjacent twin room with additional full sized bed for the children.

A transfer ticket can be purchased covering the train from Geneva airport - the station is connected to the arrivals hall at the airport, to Sion, runs every 30 minutes, then the bus up to the resort. Bus stop located at the exit of the rail station, so all very easy. An adult ticket costs approx £105 return, children 15 and under, travel free.
The bus top in Nendaz, is only 50m from the chalet.

Our ski in chalets are in Sainte Foy (2620m top chair lift), French Alps, and they enjoy a position near the nursery slopes/ski school. There are also bars, shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes’ walk from the chalet door.
The Sunday Times placed Sainte Foy No.1 in their feature article the ‘World’s Best Family Ski Resorts’. And The Times wrote that Venture Ski has “built some great chalets with top-notch on-site childcare” and has “easily the best [cuisine]” compared to our peers? And in their two-page article on us the Daily Mail referred to “…faultless, cheerful service and great food”.

we're in a small, quiet and typicall village of tignes but ski in ski out
from the chalet, you walk 100 metres to connect the slopes ;
either you take the cab lift ( télécabine les boisses) to go to tignes le lac
or you go to the village of tignes 1800 by short blue slopes ; there is a skischool for the children.
you come back to the chalet by the slopes blue " les mélèzes".

We have a couple of options for you. For location to get the children to the nursery slope easily I would suggest chalet Murette or Bonne Etoile. Lots of choice of rooms - twins etc..
If you are going to be in the alps then the Three Valleys is the place to be.. huge number of slopes and an amazing snow cannon system so if the snow is a little late, there is still skiing to be had.
Maybe look at chalet Murette, adults around £450 per person, discounts for children.
TOP RESORT- La Tania, Three Valleys, 85% of the area above 1800m.
FANTASTIC LOCATION- The chalet is just meters from the slopes and village.
LOVELY CHALET- Newly renovated stylish chalet decor, six bedrooms and six bathrooms, dining room and separate large living room with Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, Sky and Nintendo Wii.

We would love you to join us at Chill Alp Retreats in our stunning chalet in Tignes.The Chalet is at 2100m, its high and as snow sure as it gets.(important in Dec)
We have three other families staying with us, all with children of similar ages. Two ensuite rooms available with 5 single beds, chalet has a pool/sauna, 2 lounges, pool table and very close to the snow front. Tignes has 4 free beginners lifts, an area with great access from the main slopes( meet for lunch)
