Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

Chalet Grande Etoile is a traditional classic chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining area has a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. Chalet Brio has availablity, we have 6 bedrooms which are all ensuite and can sleep a maximum of 16 people. If you required further bedrooms we can also use La Terrasse which would offer you 3 more bedrooms.
We are located in Samoens which is only 50 mins from Geneva. The village is part of the Grand Massif ski area which includes 5 resorts - Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon, Sixt and Les Carroz. It has 265km of ski runs, the high resort of Flaine goes up to 2500m and has a great snow record with runs to suit all levels. We are located just a few minutes from 3 of the main ski lifts and we offer courtesy shuttles to whichever lift works for you and we will pick you up again when you’re finished on the slopes so there is no need to wait for ski bus or carry your ski’s around the resort.
The chalet has been built to an exceptional standard with floor to ceiling windows giving amazing views across the valley. We have a large outdoor hot tub, log fire, Wifi and English TV. Our main lounge and dining room feature a log fire, honesty bar, English Sky TV, DVD player, DVD’s, Wii U & games and classic family board games. Free Wi-Fi throughout.
For the adults, our spa area has a hot tub and sauna for added luxury & relaxation.
We also have a very friendly Bernese mountain dog!
Each guest room is en-suite and has a TV and DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge.
Our Catered rates include a luxury continental breakfast with a hot option on alternate days, afternoon tea and a full 3 course dinner.
Evening meals are cooked by an award-winning chef and highlight the best regional and seasonal ingredients.
Dinner is served 6 nights out of 7. This allows you to experience one of the many mountain-side restaurants in Alpe d’Huez.
We are situated a short distance from the main ski area, offering a peaceful retreat after a day on the slopes.
