Location: The North West | Hello, we are a family of 5 looking for accommodation near to either Geneva or Basel airport on the above dates which straddle the half-term weeks.
We are looking for either a chalet or apartment but preferably with easy access to the slopes. If we can transfer easily from the airport without renting a car then all the better.
Looking for a compact ski resort with plenty of red and blue runs for the kids to improve further and have fun.
May have some flexibility on dates by a day or two if needed.

We have ensuite twin rooms available for your dates in our B&B chalet in Morzine. Morzine is in the vast Portes du Soleil area which has 650 kms of linked piste. We are only a 5 minute flat walk from the Super Morzine bubble lift and town centre, but in a quiet area. We are also close to 2 free bus routes. One drops you right outside the Ardent telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. We’re only 1 hour 20 minutes from Geneva airport and can organise your transfer from there if needed.
We can also help you organise your ski lessons, chalet delivery of ski equipment, and buy your passes in advance so that you can hit the slopes as soon as possible. Free WIFI is available. we can offer you an apartment in a chalet, located in Villarabout, a small hamlet 1 km from the village of saint martin de belleville and the start of the ski lifts.
it is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 large ski locker and 1 dryer shoes.
We rent from Saturday to Saturday so it would be from 17/02 to 24/02 at the rate of 2500 €
to get to the ski there are shuttles (2 in the morning to go ski 2 at the end of the day to come back) or by car with at the foot of the slopes a large free parking.
the ski area of saint martin allows you to access all the slopes of the 3 Valleys (the menuires, val thorens, orelle, meribel, layervel ...) with many blue and red tracks for your children to have fun and progress .

Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 8 adults plus up to 4 children. The living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.

We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. Chalet des Cousins sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, all of which can be made up as twins or super king size beds. We are only a few minutes walk from the main ski lifts.
Whilst this option would require you hiring a car from Geneva (2.5 hour drive), it is a hidden gem and at only 2,900 Euros for the week, on a self catered basis, it worth a look!

Chalet loupet can offer the self catered accommodation for the dates you are looking for, comprising of one king size bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and one single bedroom, 2 bathrooms on a sole occupancy basis. The chalet benefits from WIFI, British Ski T.V, Log Burner fire, heated boot room, and is 5 minutes from the slopes. Les Houches is the home of the Chamonix downhill so we have a super assortment of easy green, plenty of reds and blue runs along with a couple of black runs and off piste for the more adventurous. The resort is tree lined so excellent for protection should the weather be windy or heavy snow fall. For the children there are zip wires and sledging and snow donuts available in the Childrens Teepee play area. Ski school is provided by E.S.F and there are private instructors also available. Although we are a 5 minute walk to the slopes we are happy to drop off and pick up free of charge once per day. Should you wish to have the best of both worlds then we can offer a catered meal on certain nights which we would need to discuss in advance, prices vary as to how many courses you would require or even just a simplistic fayre can be offered. La Vieille Ferme:
Located in St Jean d'Aulps (just outside Morzine); a lovely traditional village with its own ski slopes and a range of shops, bars and excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the house. We can provide airport transfers and offer free private transport to/from any of the Morzine area ski lifts - so the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area and a huge range of ski pistes (650km) can be reached within 10 minutes.
Pine-Marten Lodge:
Situated in the heart of Morzine old town - so a huge selection of Morzine's finest bars, restaurants and amenities can be reached within a 5 minute stroll. Sleeping 14 - 18 people in 7 bedrooms, the chalet features plenty of living space for large groups: two lounges, a large dining area, a spa with sauna an power-shower and a large snowy garden complete with hot-tub. The chalet also has plenty of off-road, covered parking and enjoys incredible views over the surrounding mountains.
The chalet is situated in a quiet and peaceful location despite being under 5 minutes walk from the bustling village centre.
