Location: Chandon 73550 Meribel | Sadly we cannot help with you dates. However I would just like to say that the height of the chalet is rather irrelevant, what you need is to pin point the resorts that go nice and high and have a huge amount of the skiing above 1800 metres and also the resorts that have lots of Snow cannons and a very good water supply. My advise is either the 3 valleys or Val d'sere, time and again when the snow is poor these two areas come up trumps. 80% of the 600 kms of slopes in the 3 valleys is above 1800 metres.

Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Daniel, sadly no one can guarantee snow in any resort, but you can look up historical snow records on the Ski Club of Great Britain website.
We're based at Samoens 1600, just a 60 minute transfer from Geneva. Incidentally Club Med have just built a new complex sleeping 1000 people and they've invested 100 million euros in the domaine so I'd imagine they're fairly confident that the snow is going to be ok 
We can offer you two large family suites from 26th December to 1st January if that's any good to you? Prices are 950 euros per adult and 700 per child.

I can offer accommodation at La Ferme du Chateau in 3 or 4 rooms. The farmhouse is at 1000 m, but the skiing in this area, Portes du Soleil, ranges from 1400 to 2400 and the slopes have always been open for Christmas and New Year in the 18 years I have been here.
La Ferme is a stunning renovated farmhouse offering accommodation in 6 en suite rooms all with bath or shower faciities, there is a large open plan living and dining area with open fire, 2 south facing balconies and an outdoor jacuzzi.
It is offered on a catered basis which includes breakfast & afternoon tea each day, 4 course evening meal with free flowing quality wine and beer on 6 evenings and there is an early children's supper available.
We are in the centre of the village, 1hr 20mins from Geneva, close to all the local shops, bars including a microbrewery and restaurants. We have availability at Chalet Lucioles, our beautiful, luxurious chalet right in the heart of Morzine. The chalet enjoys a great location just opposite the main ski lifts and pistes at Le Pleney, with numerous great ski schools, bars, restaurants, shops and amenities within a 1 or 2 minute walk.
The village is slightly lower than 1650m but a lot of the ski area is much higher. In fact, the pistes up around Avoriaz have one of the best records for early season snow.

We can offer 4 x super king or twin en-suite for the week 26th December- 2nd January, sole occupancy.

We have three chalets available for you over the new year period.
I would suggest chalet Chevallier at £750 per adult.
La Tania is at 1400m but as it has North facing, tree lined runs and is snow cannoned all the way to resort we have always had enough snow at New Year to be able to ski right in to town.

Alpe d’Huez is a high altitude resort, ensuring great skiing conditions throughout the season. Fantastic for skiers and boarders of all levels.
