We have decided to change the dates as have just realised it's half-term and that its making it very expensive!
I'm looking for a chalet that is close to a major resort and walking distance to a ski lift.
My group is 12 guys and we are traveling from London. We want a catered chalet with an option for either 4 nights from 31/1/18- 04/2/18 i.e four night catered.
Looking for a cost effective solution, with very easy access to the slopes and the resort centre. We are a mixed group of skiing ability and all adults(male).

Chalet Grande Etoile is a traditional classic chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining area has a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. The superb central location of the chalet means that you are close to the shops, restaurants and bars plus the three main lift systems within two minutes walk. The chalet has been finished with alpine furnishings with a modern twist, a style which continues in all of the en suite bedrooms. The wellness area is a superb spot to relax in after a great day on the mountain, and don’t forget to relax on the balcony which, along with some of the bedrooms, enjoys superb views of the valley. We are situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farm house in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. A little bit about us:
From a high vantage point, we offer good snow coverage during this time of year.
We are about 5 minutes drive from the nearest lifts and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.
The chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them.

Morgane sleeps up to 12 people in six en-suite bedrooms on two floors with five twins and one double - the double room also has an optional mezzanine with can be used to accommodate two extra children (this floor is accessed by a ladder so the suitability of this area for the use of children is at the parent's discretion). The living room has ample seating around the open fireplace and you can admire the stunning views from the terraces and the outdoor hot-tub to relax those aching après-ski muscles. The property is located just 200m from the piste and village centre for easy access to the extensive skiing of the Three Valleys and other resort facilities although the better skiers are able to find an off-piste route through the trees for ski in/ski out.

We can do a week fully catered 17th - 24th February.
We're a 3 minute drive from the pistes and we drop you right on the edge of a blue, a green or a red, so you don't have to walk anywhere in your ski gear. When you're ready to come back, you text us and we'll come and whisk you back for hot drinks in front of the fire, or beers in the hot-tub if you prefer. Intrepid off-pisters can ski back through the trees.
Our chalet can accommodate 22, but we will do a sole occupancy booking for groups of 12 and up. Our huge living room can easily seat 25 so you can get even the biggest groups all together around the fire.
We're in a very secluded location at the top of the mountain (thats why its easy to get to the skiing from our place - there's no queuing for lifts in the morning. We're off-grid for everything apart from electricity, so it really is an authentic Alpine experience. There are a few derelict barns but there's no-one else living up here, so you can sit in our lovely outdoor hot-tub and enjoy 360 degree uninterrupted views of the mountains and pistes.
All our rooms are large and ensuite. We also have a very warm boot room so you can dry your gear overnight, so there's no putting wet gloves on in the morning.

Chalet Barragiste is located on the edge of the luge track between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 which is a gentle blue run that take you down to Courchevel Village’s lift station. Courcheve Village offers direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the rest of the Three Valleys ski area .
Chalet Barragiste comprises six bedrooms spread over three levels. Two bedrooms have en-suites, the remaining offer en-suite showers and sinks, whilst sharing three toilets. The chalet has an indoor hot tub, sauna, ski and boot room with heated boot rack. It sleeps up to 16 people and is split into 3 accommodation units.
The first floor of the ski chalet has 4 bedrooms (2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms) and 2 bathrooms. There is also a lounge with 4 sofas, the kitchen and the main chalet dining room.
Our two chalet apartments are situated on the second floor. Each comprises a double bedroom, bathroom, large lounge / sleeping area, kitchen and mezzanine which can also be used as a sleeping area. Each apartment also has a balcony with a fantastic view of the Grand Bec and Saulire mountains.
Guests from all units eat together in the dining room on the main floor at meal times creating a convivial chalet atmosphere.

| Your new dates aren't clear but we can offer a week in Jan for
£330pp or a 4 night break in Jan (our changeover day is saturday) for
£280 - sole occupancy of the 14 bed chalet (2 quads, 3 double / twins)
for the 12 of you. The last week of Feb is £430 for the week or £350 the
short break - fully catered.
The chalet is ski in ski out next to 3 ski lifts and several decent bars
for Apres. The main town is 5 minutes away if you wanted to stay out
beyond apres (there is a club). The location for skiing the Portes du
Soleil is great and you can be first on the lift as it is literally next
door - we also offer free ski guiding in the mornings. It is a big
chalet - 2 lounges, sky TV, sauna, huge sun terrace for slope side
beers, log fire etc. The compromise for a group your size is 4 to a room
for those who draw the short straw but the rooms are big and you are
here to ski and the location is unbeatable for that. Great food and free
flowing wine too!
We can offer a private transfer from Geneva and back for the whole group
at a rate of £550 (£45pp) as well as discounted ski hire and passes
(around 10%)
