We are looking for something easy and straightforward. So catered food, easy access to kids facilities and access to the slopes.
If slopes are not easy access then private transport is preferred.

We are situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farm house in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the churchsquare and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
We offer fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee with freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and a cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet we drop you off at the Gondola just 400m in under a minute. The gondola take you to mid station at 1600m. late afternoon collection from 5 different lift stations in the Valley.

We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.

We have the perfect chalet for you. 8 bedrooms,6 bathrooms and a hot tub on the terrace.
The chalet is in a great location next to the ski lifts and a short walk to the resort centre.
At the lifts are the ski school meeting point, with English instructors, so no language problems.
Nendaz is a great family resort, no tour operators come here so there are no crowds of blokes or people pushing and shoving at the lifts, once you've skied in Switzerland you will not go back to France.
The chalet has just had a refurb and new beds/ mattresses in most of the rooms, so is super comfy.

The price for 7 nights sole occupancy from Sunday 11th March 10,000 euros.
This includes a daily breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course evening meal served with wine (for the adults) or a more simple 2 course tea for the kids, for 6 of your 7 nights.

Location wise, we are just 5 mins walk from the village centre with its many restaurants, bars and cafes and 8 mins (500m) walk from the main ski lift, Les Chavannes. There is also a free bus stop close by if needed.
