| Hi, i am looking for a catered chalet for a gentlemans trip (6 possibly up to 8 adults), with dates as specified.
Prefer to be within 90-120 mins of Geneva airport.
Somewhere with good snow record.
Either very close to pistes / lifts or with private minibus to lifts.
Too old for long walks or ski bus !
Middle aged nightlife sufficient i.e. a couple of bars closeby.
We would ideally also like airport transfers included
Let me know if anyone has any keen offers. As its an "extra" holiday we are looking for a budget rather than luxury experience.

Please note that we are able to offer advice with regards any ski and snowboard school and equipment hire companies that you may need to use. We can also assist with arranging any lift pass and airport transfer requirements that you may have all in advance of your arrival date. We are just 1hr 15mins drive from Geneva.

Chalet Nordchamp is only an hour from Geneva airport, so nice short transfer times. We are a quiet owner run chalet based in a traditional Savoyard village just outside Morzine, and offer free shuttles to/from the pistes so there is no need to trudge anywhere in your ski boots. This also gives you the flexibility to start and finish skiing in different locations every day.
We also have a hot tub with a mountain view for you to rest those legs after a long day on the slopes.

Our catered ski chalet at Samoens 1600, just a 70 minute transfer from Geneva is available for your dates and we can sleep either 6 or 8 adults across 3 suites which each sleep 3 adults (1 double and 2 single beds in each one).
 
Our chalet is just a 3 minute drive to the pistes, so we drop you in our private minibus/landrover right on the edge of a blue or red piste, so you don't have to walk anywhere at all in your ski gear. When you're ready to come back just text us and we'll whisk you back for hot drinks in front of the fire, or beers in the hot-tub if you prefer. We collect from either the piste edge, or one of the apres bars at Samoens, Vercland or Morillon.

We would have room for your group at Chalet Genevieve in Val d'Isère from Sunday, 21st January.
You can ski to the door of the chalet, which is owner-run and situated in the exclusive La Legettaz area at the foot of the Solaise slopes. In the mornings you just need to walk 100 yards down the road before putting on your skis. All five rooms have their own facilities. There is an outdoor hot tub, large sun terrace, log fire, mini bar, boot heater, foot massager, free WIFI, iPod and base station, indoor and outdoor parking, to say nothing of the beautiful views up the Manchet valley and over the village.
The Espace Killy has over 300km of piste to suit all abilities and the off-piste possibilities are endless. The village is at 1850m and with two glaciers, you will be assured of good snow. The après-ski entertainment is also varied and plentiful.
Included in the price are breakfast (freshly-squeezed orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, porridge and a hot option, eg. poached egg and ham on a toasted muffin), afternoon tea and on 4 evenings we serve a pre-dinner drink with canapés followed by a 4-course evening meal with select wines. Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are available at all times.
It is a 10 minute walk across the piste into the village center or you can make use of the free minibus service that drops you right outside the chalet.

We have 4 en-suite rooms available for your dates here at Chalet La Luge, in La Tzoumaz, great snow record, at 1578m, with direct access to the Verbier ski area, with skiing up to 3330m.
Hot tub, sauna, cinema/TV room with surround sound, log fire, wifi, USB hubs in each room, along with hairdryers, toiletries, european / UK adapters, slippers and bathrobes. Ski room with warm air boot warmers.
All our rooms are en-suite and all can be arranged with twin beds or superking double beds.
1hr 40 from Geneva, or 30 minutes from Sion (see Swissair/Helvetic and Powdair.ski for flights) and happy to arrange transfers from either.
We serve cooked breakfast options every day, homemade cakes / biscuits every day, and a 5 course evening meal with good wines on 6 nights.
Slopes and lively apres bar 600m, resort centre 800m. OK I know you said no buses, but this is optional, it's only a 5 minute walk back from the bar - free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet. A little bit about us:
We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.
The chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them.

We have our 8 bed catered chalet L'isiere available from the 21st January. This could be a good solution for you as we can give you sole use of the 3 bedrooms on the top floor if your group is 6 or sole use of the whole chalet if you group grows to 8.
The price is £549pp which is inclusive of accommodation, a large breakfast + hot options, freshly baked afternoon tea, champagne reception with canapes, a four course dinner with organic wine as well as tea and coffee brought to your door each morning.
The chalet is close to the Prodain cable car and there is an option to ski back to within 150m of the chalet front door.
There are some bars very local to the chalets or just a short trip into the centre of Morzine, there is much more nighlife to choose from.

There is a new bar restaurant 5 mins walk away and our courtesy transport is always on hand for Apres bar visits and for dropping/picking up from the slopes whenever you need.
The new snow last night is a great start to putting in a good base for the coming season and the forecast clearly shows more falling over the next week !

If you have been to Vaujany before you will remember that the skiing is just amazing here! We have just had a good snowfall and there is more to come next week!
Many of the ski lifts have been updated in the last few years. And since three years there is a great après ski bar on the mountain: La Folie Douce.
We can offer a stay for € 499 for 5 nights per person with transfers included. (Sole occupancy of the chalet is possible from 12 people)
The transfer from Geneva takes +- 2h30.

is there any means of getting to and from village later on e.g. to the Swallow bar if it still exists?
Is the airport transfer a private one and if so, what is the max capacity ( may tempt a couple more travellers to come..)

Yes, we are 1.5km from the village.
We have a minibus in which we will take you up to the lift and pick you up again in the afternoon.
Overnight you can leave your skis and boots in the ski shop. This way you can go for a drink after skiing in your normal shoes and don't have to carry around your skis.
If you wish to have a big après ski in Alpe d'Huez one day we are can arrange a taxi to pick you up or pick you up in the minibus.
We are happy to drive you up to the village after dinner if you want to go out.
Swallow bar does not exist anymore but we have heard rumors that there might be new owners this season.
We also have a fully stocked bar in the chalet.
The airport transfer is a private taxi for 8 people. If your group would be larger we may need to change the total price per person slightly.
